@numanuma20 It is an all togetter dif way of using the keys. At the piano you have to 'hit' the note's, but with a organ that is an other cind of using the keys. You have to tray it, then you know what i mean. The only simulairity with the piano is that it have note's with the same notebar. but the 'feel' is so diferent.
It has some banks with some Farfisa,or Vox sounding Organ Sounds. Its quite easy to emmualate them with the XK1s VASE III sound generator./Patrik "Tonewheeldude"

Excuse me can you PLEASE make a recording of the Voxy sound? I want to know if it is like a Doors organ.
ZackPomerleau 2 years ago
The doors used a Vox Continental. Same that Iron Butterfly used.

my CX-3 sounds better :) analog rules
HammondB200 3 years ago
Well, have you Tried the Hammond XK1?
CX3 is Good in many ways, but it Lacks a decent Scanner Vibrato, and the built in Leslie is a joke. You need a real Leslie to it.
This was recorded with just the Internal Digital one.
Tonewheeldude 3 years ago
Yes i did i tried many clones. And i have a leslie. And I hate a leslie sim. Nothing like an unplugged leslie
HammondB200 3 years ago
Of Course Not-as a Real Leslie is a Physical Experience! All Simmulators are a bit of copmromizes, some better-some worse!
You can newer replace a real Leslie 100%

How are you getting the chords you're playing with the left hand on the lower part of the board without sounding so muddy. Thanks
AKOutback 4 years ago
If you're using the 1st and 3rd drawbars for comping (on the lower manual), play your chords UP an octave.
Or... you can pull the 3rd and 5th drawbars instead. That way you don't have to play up an octave.

Tonewhelldude,
What kind of stand are you using for your XK-1?
mdmeyer2 4 years ago
A Regular Quicklok open stand(no X stand)
Costs about 200Euro
Tonewheeldude 4 years ago
Go for the the four leg type. Much more comfortable.

Sherry, and I dont know who wrote it.Swedish Organ Grinder Kjell Öhman use to play it.
Tonewheeldude 4 years ago
"Sherry" was written by Hank Crawford. Although, this is now played on organ, he was a saxophonist.
