@pvdaele Actually if you watch a bit of the dvd Tomas goes on and says the lights are all done by his cousin who has no training in light programming but simply just knows the songs really well

It's likely easier to trigger the lights from the kick drums (especially on the stroboscopic effects in the beginning) than to find a guy with such a good sense of rhythm and the ability to memorize the music. It is of course more feasible if you have the Haake gene pool to draw from.

@rbass311 I find it kinda interesting he actually plays a lot of jazz sessions and prefers using his fingers over picking, but Meshuggah wants him to use a pick so he uses a pick and sounds so fucking badasss with it. I love his bass work.
