Remarkable music from a remarkable musician. The fact that she is playing this in the middle of the sfo airport makes it even more remarkable. Words alone fail to do justice to what is happening here....so look....listen.....and soak this up through all your pores.
To be honest I don't think that people that actually noticed that she was creating live the loops, and maybe they thought she was playing along a pre-recorded song ?
Imagine, I bet it was that kids first time hearing anything like that, and the feeling of feeling that music as a newborn, in a place already so strange and unfamilure.
this video itself is a piece of art. after a while, it stops being about the music and becomes a display of the quirkiness of humans. it couldn't have worked better if it were staged. the ONE single man who leaves money for her.. the airport announcements.. the way mesmerised children are hurried along by their parents and the running woman REAPPEARING.. that was golden.
excuse the pretentiousness of this comment, but i was seriously in awe.
Look at all these post, "If i was there" refering to the time and presence of that moment that was captured by film. This is an intresting concept in regard to this post-modern music + title
Soo great that this is posted! I remember once upon a time seeing in Zoe's blog that she did this... I wish so much I could have seen it. I was in San Francisco last October and while in the airport I wondered where she was playing once upon a time. Great video.
Wow, I play, I'm not that good but though but thats amazing that she can play despite all of the destraction, and I hate having my music on the floor I need a stand xD
I like how has the machine playing the differnet parts through out the whole thing, If I had heard this without a video, I would have thought it was a bunch of different cellos
Music is awesome as always, but I really like the ambient noise of numerous conversations going on in the background with occasional shouts. Very surreal. :)

This is a thesis project, Zoe. You deserve a Master's degree for it. I'm a fan.

I love the irony of playing "TIme is running out" in an airport. Especially that girl that ran by.

Every time I watch this I can't believe the people that just walk by! I would have been mesmerized and watched, even if I missed my flight!

surreal!! i love the security announcements and the person running by!!
this first part of is a cover of "Time Is Running Out" by the band Muse, the second half is an improvisation for "airport ambiance".
