I've made perogi many tmes before and I know that girl was on her feet ALL DAY cooking. People are shocked when they actually see how long it takes to make perogi.

Well, as with almost everything it needs a little practice :) I can make about 250 of them in about 3 hours. The most time consuming thing is stuffing them and sealing :)

i just made my very first batch of homemade pierogies. im from PA and just moved to Canada where i was surprised to learn that they dont understand what a pierogi is supposed to be. well i must say that im glad i had this problem cause it inspired me to learn to make them and they were the BEST pierogies ive EVER HAD! :)

My wife's family's from the Ukraine (immigrated to Canada) and 25 years ago I was introduced to pierogies and I just can't get enough. My son's just love Grannie's pierogy recipe. My favorite is potato and cheese. Sometimes we make our own using her recipe but it takes time to make and sometimes we buy frozen from the store. We have found a couple that aren't too bad.

Well the one you can buy are rather ugly :P But it's the same with any already-made food :) I preffer cooking by myself :)

My mama (grandma) taught me how to make PIEROGI; with the help of my aunt's calculations. We make potato pierogies, sauerkraut pierogies and dark sweet cherry pierogies. Looks like I'm going to be making and freezing batches soon.

pierogi beat Chinese, pizzas and McDonalds food. It takes longer to prepare but it is greate. There are many bad pierogies I tried from stores. The best were home made by grandmas, Still there are some places that are good.

My granmother used to make them homemade. I make them several times a week except I buy the frozen ones and boil them and then saute them. Dash with alittle salt and add some sour cream. Great with beer.;)

If u love pierogi, u have to try fruit pierogi(Nadziewane)

Try them fried a bit on a pan, with some oil, till the skin gets a lil burned, they taste 10x better, crispy, omg im craving them.

Omg that's exactly how me and my grandma used to make pierogi before I left Poland! Except we made ours really big :P u know, grandma's gigantomania :P Gotta love the video! :) 5 stars! :)
