  • Too bad the scene at 1:17 is now a thing of the past :/

  • 1:38, how does a train "rest"? did it also "sleep", "read", and "have fun"?

  • 3 AC6000CWs on a coal train---thats a rarity even by today's standards. Plus, the 2nd unit is the infamous 666

  • Nice video, what hwy is this and what town is this near? thanks

  • hey danny its me andrew what your e-mail i want to know if i can go RAILFANNING WITH YOU SOON is that alright

  • I thought 53 was the Southbound?

  • @CSXKid5016

You're right. 53 is indeed the southbound. I made that error in the script but never went back and changed it.

  • "Are you familer with thechessie system coal trains"??

  • @80mphtracks

    Not really. Why?

  • sucker was haulen great video

  • Great package, Danny. I really favored the shot of the Palatka coal train with three AC6000s. Great memories I'm sure you'll cherish for a lifetime. Nothing else quite like railfanning with good friends.

  • He was about to know someone, the police...

  • Rare amtrak colors, nice to see them

  • awesome video great job

  • I must say, you have the best railroad videos on the internet. The shots and narration are outstanding. Quick question, today, which line would you say is the busiest, the A Line or the S Line? Thanks

  • In Polk County, between Winston and Auburndale, the A-Line is probably busier. but outside of that territory, the S-Line is definitely hotter.

  • Love the C30-7 Union Pacific.

  • at 6:05 look at the # for the second engine ,evil !!!!

  • LOL That's my station for you. I wish they would run down the FEC and stop at St. Augustine where I live instead. It's much better lol. They either need to connect the FEC with CSX or run two different services down the lines.

  • that chessis system was amazing very RARE

  • Great Chessie! haha that guy!

  • Just wanted to say, your videos are perfect- I enjoy watching them- they're done very professional and to be honest, I haven't seen any videos that are done better than yours!

  • hey im nick too

  • Wow, it is kind of cool looking back on these trains. Almost every single one is VERY rare to see now.

    ~Nick

  • great video.i like the UP u3OC,CS GP40 and the CR dash 8 40CW.

  • that was a nice up uboat

  • The Auto Train looks very different than it was back then. The Auto Racks, the P40's are all gone from this train sadly.

  • not entirely true. the train still runs with the autorack cars. check out danny's video Railfanning Sanford, FL & Mt. Dora Steam if you want proof that what I said is true.

  • What I meant was that the autoracks from the video are gone. They were replaced in 2005. The P40's no longer run the Auto Train.

  • at 4.55... 8-) I get a kick outa railcrews who appeciate those who appreciate what they do.

    tooty toot toot

  • The Palmetto, which you flimed in this video, had the Phase III paint scheme with it and also a new "Shamu unit". That is a real wierd!

  • Depends on the bill passing the Senate and being passed by the president.

  • Good video Danny Alex out

  • Danny:

YOU ROCK!!!!! All of your videos are professional and entertaining. Everytime I hear you on Fox13 it makes me check youtube. I have bought your videos on the Bone Valley and The Juice Train. I live in Brandon, Florida and railfan ALL the time, it is only of matter of time before i see you at a location. Can't wait for your next post. Anytime you want someone to railfan with I have a full tank of gas and a nice car waiting.

  • p.s. 863-670-1011 is my number

  • Nice footage!!! What were those cars on the end of the Amtrak 'R' train? Carrying cars? 5*****

  • That was the Auto Train. Amtrak's Sanford,FL to Virginia passenger train that lets you take your automobile with you. Passenger coaches, sleepers and diner up front, auto rack cars on the end.

  • Oh that's really cool! Do they still run that?

  • Yes. Leaves Sanford every day around 4 O'clock.

  • Cool!

  • i love it

  • When you said "A Little Too Much" I was saying to myself: Ya think?

I like old school footage when I can see it.

  • Old School footage???? What does THAT mean?

    Are you saying I'm OLD?????

  • I think what he ment was footage shot in the 60s-80s.

  • No he's not, what he means is the power of the train that is rarely seen today.

  • Great video as always. Thanks for sharing your experience.

  • Correction on the auto train ID Dan: 53 is the number for the southbound autotrain. 52 is the number for the northbound train.

  • Gad!!! You're absolutely right! I just went back and watched it again and I definiely said "53" in error. Should have been 52. Will post a revision tonight.

    Thanks for the catch.

  • No problem Dan. Im actually going to be on the Auto train come august.

  • Curious dan do you know how much traffic CSX runs between Sanford & Jacksonville because i've been confused at CSX train ID outside of Ohio

  • Question do they have any C30-7s or C36-7s running the tracks in America?

  • Great old school action on the Parallel Lines of Florida.
