  • In millions, please.

  • About how much for one of these?

  • Anybody running Plafits? Or is there another division for them?

  • @JBofBrisbane . . We don't run Plafits. The most popular classes at Slots-A-Lot are hardbodies on FCR chassis, retro CanAm / GT Coupes and jail door Grand Prix. . . . S-A-L also hosts drag racing and wing car events.

  • @krishannlorenzo ive been doing the same thing. lol. im a guy but im not really into this.

  • @krishannlorenzo im a girl but i love cars ! i was never into barbies and stuf fi always loved cars!

  • When the boy in the red shirt walks into the track, you really get a sense of the tracks size. That is sweet. please check out mine.

  • I wish we had one of these tracks close to where I live. I have an older Flexi car that Id love to play with again but. No Tracks here in Vermont. :( BOO!

  • the white car has an advantage cuz the curve it has to take is not that wide

  • @PivotmasterHD An outside lane in one turn is an inside lane on another. When a slot car track has a crossover (like this one does) all the lanes are equal length. The middle lanes are generally thought to be the fastest. In the course of a slot car race, each competitor runs for an equal amount of time on each of the eight lanes.

  • @PivotmasterHD its not a circle track, its fair because if one car has the inside lane, for the next turn, it will have the outside lane. so its all good dude.

  • there was a track like this over in the mchenrey illinois area that i used to go to i think he had 4 or 5 tracks there. been 8 yrs or so though

  • reminds me of pulp fiction

  • I am using Flexi-5's RTR with the 16d motors for my kids. I may have to take a ride up there!

  • is this the one in CO. in the basement of noahs arch?

  • 1100 Hempstead Turnpike, Franklin Square, New York 11010 - 516.616.7075

  • @N2YTA he means that the cars are attached to the track making it controllable...

  • This looks like a modified King track.

Very similar to the one I raced on for a number of years in Oakville, Ontario, about 10 years ago.

Good track and lots of fun to race on.

  • @xCsRxJiiGSaWx they fall off by going to fast into a corner

  • die bahn is zu rutchig

  • 0:15 DORIFTO!!!

  • @N2YTA i think he means , when your car wont crash ... isnt it boring to drive with it ?????

  • I wonder when the first nitro-powered slot cars pop up....

  • @xCsRxJiiGSaWx you can get out of the track, The cars are controlled by a trigger that determines acceleration, so if you gun it too hard you'll fly out of the track .

  • i love slot car acing

  • 0:20 Epic fail for the green one !!! :P

  • was this at the factory in wake forest nc once?

  • Were they using the stock parma motors?????

  • Yes, we use Parma "501" sealed motors. We use stock brushes and springs.

  • Comment removed

  • @N2YTA If you use proslot gold dust brushes it helps Noticeably

  • there is a track in franktown colorado and the track design is about the same since i remember

  • I "found" this sort of track in Butlins Segness when i was a kid! Loved it spent ALL my holiday there,it had 4 or 5 different track systems, you put 10p in the slot and it powered your coloured track up,bigger cars than a Selectric , kids would stand round the edge and put your car back on the slot, love to build one just haven't got the room.

  • Can I put my 1/10 Yokomo on there for just 1 Drift run? C'mon!

  • colorful

  • WoW Nc drift at 0:16 :P

  • I had to get rid of all mine cus were moving into a TINY house with no room for it :/

  • I remember when this track was in Elmsford NY and was gray!

  • The tracks at Elmsford are still there, this is a different design.

  • What a beautiful track!

  • what an awesome hobby

  • This track is at:

    Slots-A-Lot Raceway

    Franklin Square, New York

  • i dont really like the small slot cars they are like 5 cm i like the big ones that are 15 cm long

  • this was at millstream slot car club in ringwood, its really similar to the daytona speed way track, but its smaller. ill take it this was there upstairs earlier, but then they changed it, nice vid

  • looks like fun

  • all 3 of my x mods will burn up this track and those cars will be melted jp i dont have x mods

  • @Flatzout - 100 years ago!? - so did I! Were you the kid with the really fast red car?

    LOL

  • Think about it. Look at the track design.

  • isn't it obvious that the car in the inner lane will always win because of the shorter distance it has to cover?

  • First, an inner lane in one turn is an outer lane in another. Secondly, during a slot car race each competitor runs for a specific amount of time on every lane making it equal for everyone. Usually the middle lanes are the fastest. With the expection of oval tracks each lane is very close to the same length.

  • @ANDORKAK - any track that has a bridge makes all the lanes exactly the same length. One of those mathematical quirks. The outer lanes often tend to be harder to drive - you'll find most drivers prefer the middle lanes and will do better times in most cases.

  • the inner track has outer tuners as well. it all balances out in the end.

  • @ANDORKAK That would seem true but if you think about it, you will be forced to travel at a lower speed. I know from personal experience that going too fast around a corner can cause the car to fly off the track.

A car travelling at a lower speed may not be able to come first all the time

  • was it at ringwood-this track looks alot like the daytona speedway there

  • @4RSMVLegands it does look a hell of a lot like the one in ringwood. I'm a junior there.

  • Child hood memories : ( i can't find these at any stores any where, i just bought the smaller ones yeah, but i wanna race on these...i still have my dale earnhardt slot car...

  • 0:16 see that car drift

  • Erg Anchorage (AK) used to have a track nearly identical to this one a loooonngg time ago at the Dimond Mall. Sadly they removed it by the time i was around 4-5 years old (im 13 now). Went there every weekend while back. I remember they had a faulty slot car and at one point i tried to drive it. Floored it on the straight away and all of a sudden burst into smoke. Never gonna forget that

  • this is a reverse version of the track i race on. even so, that roundabout on the left is a B!$@# to get around on white, red, purple, and black lanes! you need a car that seriously can handle if you want to take that turn fast!

  • i find that the green lane is easier to drive...

we got a track like that down here in SXM and i just got my first nascar so yay!

    (btw)my nascar is a 1/24 flexi-5 rtr charger # 433-D

  • hi, my local hobby shop has a track like yours and i think he runs 1/24 models any tips for me? im getting a car for xmas but i cant find a site where i can see cars that i know would run on a track like this one. thank you

  • btw tell them not to slow down on the highway... if ur in green lane let of and on quickly and the other 3 cornoers dont let of at all...

    my advice...

  • the track in St.Maarten is where i goto and has the exactsame track btw!i own the green and lue lane!

    lol

  • Slots-A-Lot is under new ownership. The new owners, Kenny & Rob, have big plans including a full scale drag strip. It has a full 55 foot racing surface plus the staging aera and plenty of shut down area. Look for future videos.

  • god i love slot cars and hard bodie tracks

  • lol we have one EXATCLY THE SAME in our hobby store and when i say thare the same thay are EXATCT!

  • Me too. Not the same colors though, only the shape. It must be modeled after something or a certain brand.

  • wow thats so cool that where i go to to race has the exaxt same track! and whats even cooler is i am in the state on ny to no idea where franklin square is tho, NYC right?

  • Huh?

  • my bad, bad wording. i was just saying that where i race is also in ny and the track looks the same thats it lol

  • whoa snap dazz COOl!

  • the track in NSW that your thinking of... was it in Nowra/Bomaderry/South Nowra???

  • ok thanks because there was a track in NSW australia that looked ver simalar to theis 1 but thanks for thar infomation

  • i remember we went to like this factory that they turned into a festivalish thing and i won a contest with these.i said it looked like a factory.=)

  • when i tried to view the vid, it said no longer available. hope you understand now.

  • It seems to be working now

  • Keep refreshing your page till you get it.

  • i loved these when i was a kid.

    too bad no longer here.

still have cars an a little equip. 20 stars, faved and subscribed!!!! :):):):):)

  • What do you mean "too bad no longer here"?

The hobby shop down the road from me, has an eight lane track, with races 3 nights a week.

1:24 scale slot cars are still here!

  • why this slot racing track is not change lane

  • When you race slot cars, you have a designated lane because each car is controlled electrically. so you wouldn't be able to control the cars individually, they would both run at the speed that the user is con tolling. Besides you can't have two cars on the same track, when one is nearing a turn and the other is on a straightaway, You will probably be gunning it and the car at the turn will wipe out.

  • theres a track exactly like this in jersey

  • looks like fun...

  • this track is almost exactly like the one in Lubbock TX. awesome track!

  • you had a child and a camera person corner marshaling?

I race in Plainville Connecticut, there's a marshal on every turn and if a racer doesn't marshal they lose ten laps, if they do it again all the marshals for that heat lose 10

  • This video is of practice, not the race.

  • Ahh makes much more sense =]

  • thats a ledg track

  • Hey where are you racing??????

    Is it zepplin Hobbies?

  • Slots-A-Lot Raceway

    1100 Hempstead Turnpike

    Franklin Square, New York 11010

    516.616.7075

  • The tracks shine a lot, they look like a vinyl record! =)

  • I used to race 1/24 scale slot cars in England around 1968. I made the chassis out of brazing rod and solder. I rewound the motors with larger wire and had the armatures balanced and fitted extra special magnets. The motor was aligned at about 45 deg to the rear axle to avoid torque reaction. The hand controllers had to be rewound. We used to put Wintergreen and STP on the tyres to make them go sticky. The power source was car batteries. We were quick, but not as quick as yours are!

  • hey man why not get back into racing again, you are quite knowledgable of slots and i bet you would kick ass on

this generation of racers. i still dig the shit out of the sport

and with todays parts and motors a veterans like us can't help but rule! england is cool.
