Hardcore Pit= waving your arms around and hitting people in the face because you drank 10 shots of whiskey and can't control yourself. If someone gets hurt or falls, make sure you stomp on them and keep going.

If someone falls, they are always picked up, no matter what scene I've been in. The only stomping and targeted violence I've seen in a pit is from over aggressive metal heads punching hardcore kids without provocation.

@AnonymousFawkes5 I'm not referring to hardcore pits where everyone spaces themselves out and stands there flailing, but tightly packed pits in larger venues. Metal pits just don't work with anything less than 30 people, whereas hardcore pits can work with 7, which makes them more practical.
