This is one of my favorite comedy skits of all time. I saw it years ago, back in 1997, when it first aired. I've been humming the "socket man" lyrics for years, from memory. I missed recording it when it came on back then, so I thought I'd never see it again, thanks YouTube. :D

the reason they did this is because elton john rewrote the lyrics to Candle In The Wind and flew in to play it at princess Diana's funeral.
