@TRANSiENTART thanks for the answers... the a1 is cool, but it still records on mini dvd... that is realy annoying, cause u need additional time for the capturing... but it is a great cam!

@DeliriumReal I was looking at it among other cameras, I'm really considering it though, it seems really versatile, the new Canon fx300 and 305 look very neat but are very pricey! I know I can get a better deal on the A1 for example if you look in the right places. I'm sooo excited to get started when I can, writing out these scripts is insane! haha I want to give ppl bazillions of references to use as well, so I'm researching like crazy^^;

@TRANSiENTART I love the A1!!! don't get me wrong... I bought it last year ;) .... and the fx series looks great!!

When u get the A1 buy a UV-filter and put it on (it is transparent and secures the lense). I almost ruined my lense because I didn't have one at the beginning...
