I'm probably gonna try to fix my font engine first as my current one is very inefficient, I've just gotten tied up with school and projects other people are depending on me for haha.
I'd definitly say that HAM is easier , it has some quite easy to understand GBA libraries and converters that converts the images to the right format , devkit pro is for the more advanced uses though :B
I am currently using HAM right now, and you have any advice on learning gba programming. I know c++, but i never programmed games for a game console (and no i don't use XNA C# to write xbox360 games). Thanks :)
HAM is using C/C++ , so you wont have any bigger problems I guess :3
you could try visiting GBADEV [dot] ORG , they have some good documentation :) and tools for development , they even have a nice little forum where you can ask for help whenever you get stuck :D
very inpressive!
did you use DevKit Advance?

this version looks simple enough to be ported to Atari aswell 8D
did you do this in HAM or devKitPro (both are C++ compilers for the GBA)?
hope you'll get the sprites done soon :3 , looks like a nice port 8D

Yeah, I used devKitPro for this.
