It really sounds like one of those flight phones that were on United flights that used to be in the back of the passenger seats. They were installed in the seat and you had to pay for the call with a credit card. I don't think they exist anymore.

There have been no full scale tests, as such tests would have involved models the size of the WTC. And in a scale model, 4 inches would be the equivalent of twenty.

Cell phones work inside planes. Especially over rural areas where the towers are more powerful, as they have to reach further. I flew to London back in 2001 and one of the stewardesses had to warn one of the other passengers to stop calling people.
And IF that was a faked call with a professional voiceover artist, WHY would somebody blow it all by saying "you did great"? If you have professionals making these calls, they would stay silent until the end. Hell even amateurs would do that.
And WHY on earth would the people who made those calls have made them? Why would they say that they have been hijacked, especially the ones on United 93 who had been told that planes had hit the World Trade Center? Because at that point, they would have known they were going to die, or at LEAST be officially "dead" and surely they would have told the truth, that they were safe and nothing was going to happen, or that the government had kidnapped them or whatever.

the people using the word "terrorist" are the "terrorists". All in step, every major media outlet was using the word terror, even though if I don't feel terror, than no such thing could exist. It really sounds like one of those flight phones that were on United flights that used to be in the back of the passenger seats. They were installed in the seat and you had to pay for the call with a credit card. I don't think they exist anymore.

i think most people get wrapped up in the demoltion thing, in all probability these attacks were acts of terrorism, the buildings fell down because thats the way they fell etc etc, the only debate for me is how none of these planes were intercepted or even close to intercepted, and why bush if he knew the acts were happening carried on as if there were no threat to himself? or was it all just one mistake after another because of the enormity of it all?forewarned is not necessarily forearmed.

And it was NOT the first time that steel framed buildings collapsed due to fire alone. During World War II there were a LOT of buildings that collapsed after the firebomb campaigns in Tokyo and Dresden and Britain that were not hit by any bombs, but were simply CAUGHT IN THE FIRES.

Well, 9/11 was just commercial airliners, and these airliners hit the buildings above the mid point, leaving the bottom half completely untouched. And a fully loaded 767 ER weighs between 100 tonnes and 180 tonnes and are not merely made from pressed aluminium, but reinforced aluminium laminate. Very strong stuff. A lot of weight. And nearly ALL of that weight was absorbed by the superstructure of those buildings, causing damage throughout.

The top parts of the buildings were 10-20 storeys tall. If you take a 10 storey building and drop it on top of an INTACT building, it would collapse. They use this technique to demolish high rise buildings in France. It is called Verinage.

Silverstein lost BILLIONS. Only part of the replacement costs of the towers was covered by insurance. That is why the new WTC is does not have anything near the floorspace, and therefore the rental income of the old complex.Factor in the loss of years of rental income, short term damage to other Silverstein properties, the fact that the WTC was fully occupied and very profitable, removes any and all motive for Silverstein to torch his own business.

so the 99 year lease he took out on the WTCs, the insurance policy on terrorism (which does in fact make sense at least) and the fact that after the attacks, he brought his insurance agency to court to get double what his policy is due to the fact that, according to him, the events of 9/11 should be considered as 2 separate attacks. i've suggested nothing other than the fact that if we're to question something, it shouldn't be the legitimacy of a phone call, but rather something like this.

But even IF HE WON, the payout, which would have been double, would not have paid for all losses.
The "hijackers still alive" stuff comes from one FBI release, where they released the wrong picture, because there was a pilot in Morocco with the same name as one of the hijackers.
They issued a full apology to him after extensive interviews. They got it wrong and retrated it.

Building 7 was built upon foundations that were meant for a much smaller building. Therefore it was built light, like the Twin Towers were, with much less concrete than,for example, the Verizon building, which was much heavier, because it was built to house very heavy telecommunications equipment in the 30s, so had to be heavily reinforced. The Verizon (and Deutsche Bank Building) was much more sturdy, and withstood the impact of the Twin Towers.7 was taller and lighter. It collapsed.

How would one know the occupancy at the towers was maximum? But then again, why would UA and AA fly cross-country with 30% occupancy, when the industry average at the time was 92%?

@dangerouslytalented It's a fact that it was so costly to keep the world trade centers powered. It was a huge money pit putting Larry Silverstein in debt with the high cost of electricity it used monthly. He discussed this on TV once. There was asbestos in the buildings also, it has been confirmed.

how did she hear about the other plane flying into the world trade center? even if the pilot had found out about it from traffic control, he wouldnt tell the passengers that, ensuing panic. he would try to keep himself and everybody as calm as possible...and why would the hijackers tell them and then allow them free use of the telephone (no supervision) so that they can warn people?

Pilots interviewed said that there was no way these people could have flown a big jet, made the course corrections, disabled the electronics that track the plane and without air traffic guidance make their way back and accurately crash the plane into a critical part of the skyscraper....NOT POSSIBLE. THE PILOTS WERE VERY EXPERIENCED.

There is a difference between being able to fly and land a Cessna, which is not a powerful or stable aircraft, and simply aim and crash a 767, which is a large, stable, jet propelled aircraft. Most of the skill in flying is in how to keep stable when flying slow avoiding stalling, landing, flying in low visibility,not crashing,none of which the hijackers needed to do.They needed to know how to turn the throttle up, and aim it at something.Even then,one failed,and the Pentagon guy nearly missed.

The new commission will reveal nothing new. Either the truthers are right and there is a vast conspiracy, which will ultimately corrupt the investigation, OR, there is nothing new to report.
Personally, I believe the first commission was half hearted because a full investigation would have revealed the embarrassing truth: Bush was asleep at the switch, he had warning and didnt take any action whatsoever, just like in Katrina, when he took no action whatsoever.

Well, would you trust the results if it does result in confirmation of the official story? Personally I believe that it WILL, because the official story is what actually happened.

Please for your own sake and for the people who lost their lives on that day will you watch the whole of "9/11 the birth of treason". Watch all 12 parts which are here on youtube. Then come back and give your opinion. Or at least try and provide any evidence which proves the documentary wrong. I will appreciate any opinions. I am not a "Bush Basher" or anything like that against the American government. I just think that we need to know the truth for the sake of the lost people and our future.

Just watched the first RKOwens video on his page "9/11 Debunked: World Trade Center's Collapse Explained". It claims that the inner beams warped more than 20 inches. Its a fact that after 9\11 huge reconstruction models of the twin towers floors where put under exaggerated heating tests and only warped 4 inches. All explained in 911 the birth of treason. If you choose not to watch the documentary then that's up to you. I suppose you think Larry Silverstein "pulled" the fire brigade out of WTC7?

There have been no full scale tests, as such tests would have involved models the size of the WTC. And in a scale model, 4 inches would be the equivalent of twenty.
Larry Silverstein did not pull the fire brigade out,the Fire Brigade pulled themselves out,(with Silverstein's approval) because(a)it was in danger of imminent collapse and(b)they had search and rescue to do,and other fires to put out,and a large portion of the FDNY had just been killed,so suddenly they were massively understaffed

I like the way you state 4 inches was the equivalent to 20 inches. Are you making this up as you go along? whats your source?
After testing the models NIST even stated in there draft report "The results established that this type of assembly was capable of sustaining a large gravity load, without collapsing, for a substantial period of time relative to the duration of the fires in any given location on September 11th."
You are too gullible regarding WTC7. Look up the term "pull it"

This was a scale model they were using.
And that kind of assembly would not be capable of sustaining such a massive gravity load if the floor was damaged by, I dont know, a MASSIVE AIRLINER CRASHING INTO IT, or TEN OR TWENTY STORIES CRASHING DOWN ONTO IT.

What are you talking about. Is this another one of your made up hypothesis? The twin towers were made to stand up you know. Not just give up! Anyway huge amounts of Thermite was found in the dust by many labs which is unarguable. I suppose you also beleive the government recovered the terrorists passports from the fire even though the black boxes from the plane vanished in the "burning fury" haha

Yes,passports were thrown clear by explosive decompression.Seats, baggage,passengers,paperwork,a LOT of stuff was thrown clear.
The blackboxes,along with large parts of the fuselages of both planes,remained in the towers,where they were crushed by the falling concrete.Not much could survive that.
And what is this evidence of thermite?Some of the chemical constituents of thermite were found, but they were things like aluminium,iron, sulphur,potassium,all common substances in the two towers.

Cell phones work inside planes. Especially over rural areas where the towers are more powerful, as they have to reach further. I flew to London back in 2001 and one of the stewardesses had to warn one of the other passengers to stop calling people.
And IF that was a faked call with a professional voiceover artist, WHY would somebody blow it all by saying "you did great"? If you have professionals making these calls, they would stay silent until the end. Hell even amateurs would do that.

And WHY on earth would the people who made those calls have made them? Why would they say that they have been hijacked, especially the ones on United 93 who had been told that planes had hit the World Trade Center? Because at that point, they would have known they were going to die, or at LEAST be officially "dead" and surely they would have told the truth, that they were safe and nothing was going to happen, or that the government had kidnapped them or whatever.

I am asking what could possibly be in it for her (and all the others) to make such a call? Tell me, what could they threaten her with that would make her do it? What could they bribe these people with? I can't see any way that they could be coerced into making these calls, apart from the legitimate belief that they were on board hijacked planes.

People can make cell phone calls from planes. You just aren't supposed to because it messes with the plane's ability to keep in contact with other planes and controls on the ground - which clearly didn't matter at this point.
Someone saying, "You did great." is evidence for conspiracy? How about a person offering emotional support to a woman who makes one final phone call to her family?

@igit96 when you are 40,000 feet in the air, your phone will not be able to pick up one certain tower and use it, it will bounce off of random towers and you won't be able to keep a call. You may be right at takeoff and landings, but why don't you try to make a call at 40k before talking about shit you obviously don't know about.
