MLB 2k series is horrible. The AI is ridiculous. The audio doesn't match up with in-game play. Why do the catchers call for breaking balls up in the zone? What kind of idiot programers code this game, I can't believe testers wouldn't pick this stuff up.

The show is so much better. I've been playing 2k since 05 and the how since 06 the show. i say that 2k5 was way better on the PS2 than 2k8 on the 360. They never update the pictures(my Wii mlb 2k8 still has the diamondbacks in there old uni, sabathia still has a indians hat in this vid) , the animators don't pay attention(my 2k8 had white pitcher Chris young on the Padres have the head of diamondbacks black outfielder Chris B Young) mlb 2k took a step back this year. last yr much better.

It looks like they tried to make this more like THE BIGS. I love the BIGS, I think its still one of the best arcade baseball games out (untill part 2 comes out) But this looks fairly bad...2k sports should just have released an updated roster for the BIGS and made the online play more smooth. The Show might be better, but it's just a little bit better. MLB 2K9 is a HUGE improvement and it actually kicks ass. I bought knowing that it would be better than last years piece of shit and it was.

But MLB The Show is like the only game that's pretty good for playstation.

As far as the consoles go, the XBOX is far superior than the PS3. Hands down.
