Believe me, if a cat wants out it will get out. Most cats can clear 6- 10 feet. The cat in this vid is chilling out and enjoying the water. I've owned cats for over 20 years.
Personaly I dont think it looks like hes stressed or trying to get out. At the begining and end it sits on a ledge with shallow water where it can easily get out.
If it didn't like the water it wouldn't swim about, it would be off that ledge in a flash!

That's definitely a Turkish Van...the swimming and its color pattern mark it. we have a Van mix and he doesn't swim yet, but we're hoping he'll get around to it!

I have a Chartreux and two Maltese cats. They didn´t like water, until I started filling up the bath tub. Then I realized that they where just scared of the shower... And now they like it more than my dog does!
While I will admit the cat looks a little worried, it dosent seem to be in a total panic. I did not hear anyone laughing in the background or carrying on like they thought it was a big he-haw that the cat was in the water. It appeared as though it got in all on its own. I was the proud owner of a Maine Coon (all white) that used to LOVE hopping into the bath - most of the time while I was in it!! He couldn't get enough water but, never drank from the toilet or the sink. Too picky I guess!

The only breeds that can swim were Angora cats and Siamese,now thats new :D

If people actually took the time to watch this thing to the end, they'd realize that THE CAT GETS OUT!!! Not only does he get out, he gets out the same way he went in, therefore proving that the cat, at no point in the entire video, was EVER forced to do something that it didn't want to do!

Unbelievable how dumb some people are. Cute cat and very obviously he is not traumatized or frantically trying to get out as there at the end is a nice platform he can climb up on....which he does. Stupid people don'e even know what they are looking at.
