I gotta say as a major fan of Garland, I don't know anybody else who could really pull it off. They need to be a triple threat, a great actress, singer and dancer. I'd say Christina Aguilera but she's an awful actress. I think Beyonce will do a good job actually. I'm rooting for her. Hopefully she makes it her own and the music and direction by Clint Eastwood is very modern to reflect this current generation. Maybe it can join the ranks of the three other movies.
