  • Sweet!

  • do the ailerons still work well?

  • Those flaps are deep man. They are sick but really are really deep. Hope it works alright!

  • I noticed a slight "glitch in the rudder when you hit your flap switch--do you have digital servos in the Corsair? This could give you fits-I had to swap out mine for analog 9G's--now she's smooth as glass.

  • @ThePolevault I think that the twitching was me just bumping the stick. As for the servo, i believe i still had the parkzone ones in there.

  • how didyouget that in just one channel?

  • I used a Y-connector.

  • i have the same transmitter :-D dx6 isn'it..????

  • what transmitter is that?

  • sorry about the backwards filming. it is a spectrum dx5e

  • very nice man like the flaps man

  • what do flaps exactly do?

  • In short, they create lift and the byproduct of lift, drag. By using flaps to change the shape and size of the wing, the aircraft can take off and land at slower speeds, thus allowing shorter take offs and landings than it could if it did not have flaps.

  • Great craftsmanship! Retracks too?

  • I thought the esc would only take up to 5 servos? Do you have an external bec on it?

  • Hey buddy real nice mod, very clean work, 5 starts

  • that looks sweet man, how many servos?

  • Nice one mate got to see them work a lot better this time, i have this bird aswell and the flaps do look the part but i don't think it needs them but each to there own and 5* for a great job well done.

  • How are landings and takeoffs? Don't the flaps cause a pretty nasty nose down attitude?

  • Landings go really nice. Even with the wind it slows it down good. 'when the flaps go down the planes noses up but after that it flies normal, but slower.

  • why dont u use an dx6i and let the elevator go down if you activate the flaps?

i use by my corsair the alieron for flaps and the elevator is programmed that it go down if i activate the flaps

  • do you really need the flaps

  • i have the same plane....you dont need the flaps for take off or landing on this one....it flies just great right out of the box, i just put bigger wheels on mine for grass runways

  • if it only has 1 channel availible than how many servoes did you use

  • i think 1 or 2

  • I used 2 total servos. one in each wing.

  • Hey bud, Excellent video!

I'm looking at modifying my T28 trojan with flaps but I have never done any similar projects. Can you please make a video on how to add flaps?

    Thanks a million

  • he only used two servos for the flaps and you just Y them into one channel, that would be channel number five.

  • but when you click the high and low rate dosen't it change all the controls

  • thanks a lot man

  • is that the high and low rate you are using plz respond

  • I used the 5th channel on my DX5e. The switch on the front of the transmitter is the high and low rate switch. For the flaps, it is all the way up or all the way down.

  • what channel did you use to operate the flaps

  • if i can fly the spitfire can i fly the corsair

  • wow thats so cool!!!

  • Why did your rudder move with the right stick. What mode do you fly, mode 2 has left stick rudder?

  • It didn't. For some reason the picture is reversed. Just look at the number on the side of the plane.

  • oh wow, you're right! Weird.

  • how did u put flaps on it

  • Flaps are about as far as you can go. Spoilerons can cause a wing tip stall and crash.

  • can you program your radio???. Then you can have spoilerons too and airbrakes. that one cool plane/
