Hey, i love your videos, i have a chinese waterdragon of my own. I got her sick and no one would pay to get her checked at the vet. She is currently in a 10gallon cage, once she gets better (she's almost complete with her treatment) i was thinking about getting her a new exo terra 36x18x24 terrarium. But, all the stores around me do not sell these and i cannot find a website online that will ship it. Any help to where you got it? and where i could get barriers for the terrarium?

actually the cage is too small for the lizard & the water is not clean enuff for her to drink with her waste & fish waste in it even if u cleaned it everyday cause the pump & lines do not get cleaned out, the lighting i'm sure looks cool but if u took her in for a yearly check up by a real reptile vet u may find she has parasites, maybe a touch of mbd & without a hidebox she can be stressed the red light at night will not let her sleep right, check out my lighting video for more

Your water dragon is probably small because she's in such a small cage... Full grown Water Dragons need far bigger enclosures. You're probably stunning her growth.

Do research before you purchase an animal people.

Already did research... it's a girl. They only get 2 feet max. Males however need bigger enclosures. Mine is almost 20 inches...and over 2 years old. Any other news you got for me bud,,, or is that it?

Water Dragons need a space at least 2 x their total length therefore you will need to provide an enclosure that is a min. of 6 ft long (side to side), 2-3 feet deep and 4-6 feet high to do it right.

4 feet for your female IF she is 2 feet long.

Not 3 feet, which you have right now at 36inches.

if you get an exo terra waterfall the fogger is hiden inside there so it can't be seen and it looks great

No i go by overall temperature. It gets hot sometimes I have to turn offf some lights. But as long as your temperature is good you should be ok, I do notice sometimes the dragon will sit under the 60 watt as opposed to the 25 watt.

one suggestion for underwater lights is Marina makes led lights for Betta Kits. They cost about 10 bucks and suck as a light for an aquarium but would work well for this application. We sell them at Pets unlimited where i work.
