It's both. This project has two parts: "Las Vegas", which is a fan-shot, fan-recorded DVD of the last Lights In The Sky Show, and "The Gift", which is a DVD using the HD footage and 5.1 soundboard audio that Trent released online about a year ago.

the TDS live show was not audio mixed, color-corrected and the songs were only 14 while here are 30 just in the first DVD

They needed all the 500 GB footage downloaded on external hard drives and it was sent to other team people a lot of time.

The team, infact, was not in the same place, there were guys in Canada collaborating with other French guys via internet...add some data losses and you'll understand why it took so long

You're right AVOTT took an unnecessarily long ass while to get together, and to be honest some people's laziness and incompetence in the group is to blame. However, I can assure you that if you liked TDS live, you'll love this. More complete and professionnal in almost every way. squall6789 have worked on this non-stop day&night for about 4 months, and I think it shows in the final result. But you're right, it COULD have been out as early as June.

TDS Live was quickly put together because I was alone working on it and didn't have to deal with file transfers, HDD shipments, people's lives... AVOTT was pretty much non-stop problems for a year. Plus the task was much bigger... I personally edited around 25 songs all in all (half of Vegas, 7 Gift songs, 6 bonus tracks)... Plus I've been involved in gathering bonus footage, etc. Nowhere near as much work as TDS Live, and the same goes for everybody involved. It's just HUGE.
