  • they are both amazing :)

  • Shes terrible..

  • @rockinarmy You kidding me!? She's awesome! She has a great voice, that's what I think ^^

  • I LOVE this song <3

  • we all need a seymour.... could do without the audrey II but though :\

  • This is kinda like what mine and my bestguyfriend have together, the last guy I dated treating me rough, he was physically abusive to me (not only was he abusive to me, after the nasty break up, he went after my family) kinda like Audrey's ex-bf.But, Jacob (my bestguyfriend) tho'.There's something I feel between us, something I think that'd last till the end, I feel that maybe God has called us to be together (both not sure 'bout US yet). But, just not right now.

  • this song. is so amazing c: i still sing along to this song while i watch the musical i know all the words to it. its such a touching song c:

  • The only way to achieve a voice like Audrey is to be a lifelong Christian Fundamentalist.

  • At times, her speaking voice is just... unbearable. She also does have this odd key change at times, I noticed this at this. Anyway, both of these leads are amazing in this performance. My school's Drama is doing this in April and I do want to know how it turns out, I'm curious. The outfit choices were odd, but...meh. Anyway, I do love this song and I do want to see it done in a stage by High school kids. I love her singing voice, I do. This is a fantastic musical. The song choices are off.

  • @theminstry At times. For the characters. They could kill it with one song and with another, it just sounds...off.

  • @prue6967 no I said her boobs are trying to slap us across the face. Either you completely read my comment wrong or you read someone else's and blamed me for it.

  • look up suddley frankie its frankie and aria grande singing

  • Sorry you hurt your voice owning this song so well Ellen, but at least your voice wont ever lose it's strength on the internet, no matter how many times it's heard.

  • Very great singing here :) M

  • Disgusting kiss...

And omg...it's Barney from the Flintstones!

  • @phant0m0fthe0pera7 Its also Mr. Tully from Ghostbusters, Bob MacKenzie from The MacKenzie Brothers Strange Brew, and Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. Rick Morranis is my favorite actor.

  • I love this music and the film is timeless................ Rick is so cute singing ;) m

  • so thats why she was dressed like a hoochy mama... Damn that Steve Martin!!!

  • i wanna have a voice that powerful

  • wait does she play mathildas mom?!?! I LOVE HER

  • @LOVElizabear She doesn't. I thought so too until I looked it up. Freaky resemblance though haha

  • Where are You, Ellen Greene? I want to hear You all the time!

  • I want daphne rubin vega to play audrey ! <3

  • @emily496351detective

Right voice, wrong look :) She is pretty old now I think...

  • I'll never understand how so much voice comes out of such a tiny body.

  • Has to be one of the all time best performances of all time!!

  • Priceless!!

  • little shop of horrors - where strangers are allowed to join in with your musical

  • I love how shes all quiet and squeaky and then she sounds like an opera singer.

  • BEAUTIFUL FUCKING TITS!

  • @RichardCano WHAT THE FREAK!! PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO WATCH NOT STARE AT HER DO-DAAS!!!

  • @LPSStoneProductions Speak for yourself.

  • @RichardCano no

  • Awww man can this lady sing. I just love how unexpected her soulful voice is! Thumbs up if you agree!!!

  • this song has been stuck in my head today.. great song.

  • she sound weird

  • her voice is crazy....squeaky at one time...and deep and soulful after...AWESOME!

  • don't like her voice

  • I keep laughing when I hear this song cause my friend keeps singing 'seriously seymour'

  • Thumbs up if you clicked on this video because the other one had way shitty audio.

  • she sings with a lot of raw emotion and soul. it's perfect for this song, imo

  • i'm not a huge fan of her voice, but i will say that she's got talent. her voice is really impressive. just not to my tastes.

  • If I Flat out love this Duet and this movie, Does it make me just a little Gay? LOL

  • @Deedumz40

no it makes you awesome especially if you were born in the late 80's or the 90's

  • @Deedumz40 IF SO, THEY JUST HATE CLASSIC THEATRE

  • @Deedumz40 No. but the comment does make you sound like a fucking idiot. Jussayin.

  • i love rick moranis :)

  • Awesome lol

  • I'm sorry I don't think she has a good voice. It's too breathy and really annoying.

  • @lolzlaughlolz

    Agree with you 100%

  • The most memorable part of the movie - loved the song. Ellen great voice and BODY!!

  • A better title for the song is "Three Women Interrupt a Deep and Private Moment"

  • she is completely AMAZING

  • Whoever saw this movie and didn't get teary-eyed when they finally kiss has no soul.

  • Will from the Inbetweeners is Seymour's love child.

  • who knew rick had such a voice

  • im sorry be but she can not sing. she sounds like Lina Lamont in Singin in the Rain.

  • No body sings it like she does!!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • Sometimes I wish I could wear my hair like Audrey's.

  • So beautiful...

  • everyone might yell at me, and dont get me wrong i loved her. but her voice makes me wanna die sometimes.

  • @xxChristine324xx i agree i don't like her voice.

  • i love love love this

  • i dont know why but it looks sometimes that she isnt really a woman:P

  • i want this played at my wedding.

  • Right on!

  • Thumbs Up if you've watched Frankie and Ariana Grande sing this

  • @MrSamuelW I have seen it but this is the best.

  • @JerryR6868 You should watch it, it's amazing :D

  • If a voice like Ellen's isn't a gift from God, I don't know what is :-)

  • THAT WHITE GURK CAN SANG!

  • Ellen Greene in this song gives me goosebumps.

  • My favorite song of the entire movie!

  • In later married life, Audrey and seymour are eating breakfast.

(AUDREY): seymour, get rid of those three singing creeps following you around

    (SEYMOUR): but...

(AUDREY): IT'S ME OR THE MUSICAL COMMENTARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(SINGERS): bop she bop, sha la la la lala

  • Shes containing her voice.

  • Comment removed

  • I love 1:40, as she sings the title line, and he just appears from behind the wall.

  • Supper CooL! Ellen Greene, you are so underrated & under-appreciated...

  • I forgot how much I loved this part of Little shop horrors.

  • @vbrockin27 i love watching this

  • I love all the songs in this movie but she really cranked up the talent with her awesome singing voice

  • That chick's got some pipes...

  • Am I the only one to ever think her hair looks fake? But I love her anyways :P

  • In regards to Ellen Greene as the role of Audrey for this movie... I think it just depends on your taste. She has a very unique voice and although a lot of people have distaste for her in this role I quite like her and particularly enjoy her voice in this song.

  • @AppleFlavoredCyanide Also... <3 Rick Moranis

  • @AppleFlavoredCyanide

    Me, too! ^_^

  • The Clavicle on that woman is serious

  • I can't stand her voice! you can barely understand her... you can play a blonde audrey up wayy better than she did

  • Ellen Greene makes me want to die. Blech.

  • rick moranis is very nerdy hott in this movie! :P great song i had it in my head all day at work lol

  • ...and people always wondered why when I was told I look like Rick Moranis, I took it as a compliment. Just read some of the posts on this thread...

  • I was never really sure why Ellen Greene was cast for this role, until I saw this scene the first time...she started singing, and I was floored.

  • I want to give Rick a hug. HE'S JUST SO CUTE!

He would look so amazing if his face was pasted on a buff guy's body. Anyone agree? <3

  • Absolutely adorable song, and the scene was perfectly acted by Greene and Moranis

  • I agree with all of you, Rick moranis is so cute. I just melt when I see his glasses:) he's also perfectly awkward in this scene

  • THIS song gives me chills form some weird reason!

  • Keep in mind they ellen wear stuff like that to express just how innocent the character is. And ellen is using that talking voice to sound dainty and I know from experience just how hard it is to get up high in that kind of accent.

  • Oh ellen :)

  • I love Ellen Greene

  • Ellen owns this character.

  • Seymore just woke up, his breath must of stank. And she kissed him :O

  • @FilmParodys Technically, he never really slept, in shock of what he did.

  • dose that woman remind u off the mean mother of Matilda

  • its scary how little her voice is when talking and how deep it gets when she's singing. I keep thinking it will get deeper and suddenly she'll be a man or something. I mean that in comparison with her talking voice during the entire thing because she really is a good singer.

  • @KitKatNightPrincess I was thinking more she ate one of the black girls =P

  • Hellraizr666 is who commented.

  • Could some1 please tell me wat heilrai blahdeblah said? For some reason their comment isn't showing up on my screen and I'd really like to no the joke!

  • And to think, ten minutes before this song Seymour chopped a guy up and fed him to an alien plant.

Kinda makes ya think, doesn't it?

  • @adventfear It's always the quiet ones, isn't it?

  • does anyone else think audrey is too fast...i learned the song (audrey part) slower...more at the tempo seymour sings at

  • Fantastic vocal and cleavage

  • This reminds me of when I used to be a plant...

  • I love this song. I love this play. I love this movie. They both sing it flawlessly. One thing I would change: Audrey sweetheart. Too much cleave cleave showin there. :)

  • Audrey: I use to tasteless outfits NOT classy outfits like this one..lmao! Still looks pretty trashy to me.

  • ellen is like 3 inches taller than nick is. It's kinda funny

  • this thursday i have to play Audrey, and one time during practice my Seymour sang:

'Lift up your head, wash of your mascara...Here, take my Max Factor, this one's waterproof..'

For the last 3 weeks i couldn't sing this song with a straight face anymore :'D

  • Industrial. Strength. Voice.

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • @ckhmi -me too. it is one of the best.

  • until i saw this version of Little Shop of Horrors i didnt know that Rick Moranis could sing. he's actually pretty good

  • no other woman can nail the part like ellen greene

  • @4lifesista my high school did the musical my freshman year and the girls who shared the part of audrey both killed it.

  • @4lifesista

    Agreed.

Whenever she's there, you feel how sweet and special the character is.

Whenever she talks, she's out of the ordinary. In a good way, though.

Whenever she sings.....Hot damn! Tidal wave of pure awesomeness, my friend!

  • @4lifesista I totally agree. She put A LOT of soul into this song!

  • look i'm sorry, but the trio of black girls singing NEVER gets old. never.

  • Seymour is... so perfect. I want a man like him. :3

  • Me? Yea lol

  • CANT believe Rick Morris can sing!! I seen his movies honey I strunk the kids and ghost buster. I never thought he can sing til I watch this movie and was like WOW he sing!!! He's sooo cute!!!

  • I can't decide if Ellen Greene is a good singer or not.

  • @coodoo17

    You serious?

  • @coodoo17 Yes she is

  • @coodoo17 Agreed.

  • I love this song

  • Holy crap Rick Moranis! Why do you have to be so cute and good at singing! And why can't I find a guy like Seymour?

  • Could you ask for a better moment? find mutual love ns a person then approach a door for it to be opened by a plant? Of course it asks quite a high price for this but still ! :D

  • @MegaFlyingKiwi I cry every time !!!!! This is one of the most perfect moments on screen. sigh

  • I've never had much of a fondness for musicals, however this particular musical is, was, and always shall be my most favourite of them all.

  • @FredHeyTherePoop

lol I know what you mean. The first time I saw thus movie all I could think of was spaceballs, xD

  • All I can think of is "Honey I shrunk the kids"

  • this calmed me down and then the phone rang i jumped and almost screamed! lol

  • I love Audrey goes from 1:17 to 1:32 to 1:38

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! I can't get it out of my head!!!!XD

  • im sorry docter

  • i like how she started all soft and high and then BAM soul!

  • @nanacakes3 It makes my heart all aflutter~

  • 2:37 she kinda screeched

  • This is a great scene!

  • The first time I heard the plant chuckle like that, I thought he was thinking

"oh yeah. My man Seymour just scored"

    Or something.

  • 28 people had to sing "Suddnely Orin"

  • I finally bought Ellen Greene's cd In His Eyes...it is awesome! She autographed it and signed Love "Audrey" underneath her name. Had to pay a lot out of print 2004...on amazon.com

  • Did Rick do any other musical roles does anyone know?

  • the three black women reminded me of the muses, anyway, this is my favorite song in the musical.

  • whenever i was listening to somewhere green, i was waiting for them to start saying suddenly seymour. i can't get this song out of my head! :D

  • That was a...forceful kiss?

  • did her voice break or somthing???

  • @epic00L her voice isn't naturally high like that. she was just pretending to have a high ptich voice like that. she actually has a deeper voice which you can hear when she started to sing.

  • @epic00L It probably broke because she is crying and in character. : / Musical Theatre isn't about making songs pretty, but about telling the story.

  • Omg sweetest song in the whole movie and one of the sweetest I've ever heard!!! I always cry at this part!!!

  • Ellen and Rick rock. I love their version of this song. No one else comes close. Thank you

  • i dont really like her voice much, rick moranis has a surprisingly good voice though

  • @lfcrazorblade shes rediculously amazing in this movie....HOWEVER when she did this song live on tv she was AWFUL

  • Dammit. She ruins a great song.

  • This is adorable ):

  • 2 things:

Does anyone else feel like her boobs are about to jump out and attack you?

And also Rick Moranis is kinda sneaky hot in an unattractive way but still sorta sexy :P

  • @TheAllybay

I agree about Rick Moranis.... somehow he's really hot in this movie...

  • @TheAllybay He's THAT good of an actor... :)

  • @TheAllybay i think its his voice o.o

  • @TheAllybay I agree with you completely on Rick Moranis being hott, I still haven't admitted it to anyone yet. Lmfao. :)

  • @TheAllybay I Wish I could get attacked like that, LOL

  • @TheAllybay Yeah her boobs are definitely trying to slap us across the face, of course I don't mind that. She's incredible gorgeous in this movie and I love her singing.

  • @Haeinscute No one ever "asks" to be abused because of the way they dress.

  • @prue6967 Say what? Where in my comment did you pull that I said anything about anyone asking to be abused by the way they're dressed?

  • @Haeinscute You said something along the lines of "she's asking for it with tits like that." Maybe I misunderstood you. If I did, I apologize.

  • I wish that Frank Oz would C this on my show,iArisha in the episode,iDream Of Song. Alan Menken would guest star in this episode. NOT Howard Ashman. He's dead!
