It's like those 5-man runs through vanilla SM where Mograine and Whitemane in cathedral took hours to get to and everyone fighting over those blues, hehe...I still play and love the game for what it is (now that Cataclysm is preloaded) but I miss those back-in-the-day times. =)

Now its like amagawd we wiped, lets disband. I'm not saying its a bad game now, but damn the epic isnt epic anymore and the raid tactics are kind of easy. Onyxia has come back and 50% of the ppl cant even avoid a deep breath =/.

on that same note, BWL gear was easily the best designed sets and blizzard has yet to live up to it.
Mc was epic indeed. But we must see the obvious fact that majority (like 80% didnt see endgame) and even the hardcore raiders wanted change. (me included). World of Warcraft is still a great game and will continue to be. It will appeal to new audiences and ways of playing.

I have to agree, even though I started a few months into BC, I can only imagine the chaotic fun that a 40 man raid would have been, WoW is taken far too seriously by many people now, its become a sport or job almost (raiding 3 days a week or wtvr). Its no longer JUST a game, something serious.

I know the exact feeling you're talking about, and it's all true. BWL was Fun, but it wasn't as fun compared to MC, not even Nax was as fun, the game will never be this fun again, with duels ending in 5seconds and raids cleared in minutes.

IMO i think they oughta make certain server that are ONLY for Pre-tbc and even pre-wotlk for people who enjoyed running things like MC BWL Naxx and that to actually progress and not just for loot...i know alot of people have said it before me but its something i totally agree with...of course some of the MINOR tweaks that were added after expansions could be used...just to make things a bit "cleaner" i guess could be the word for it...

If you have resil you can pvp like before pretty much. Your gonna have just as big of a chance as the other guy. Arena is fine as well unless you have greens and just hit 70. why would you try using pve gear in pvp anyway along with pvp gear as raiding. dps goes way lower.
Pre-BC FTW i still play this game but i want blizzard to bring back the good game. u get free epics in BC its so dumb. druid healing was so much more fun pre bc before they changed all the heals so you had to use the highest rank to get bonus healing F U blizzard.

You got to admit that now you can just play the game, say once a week. In stead of devoting your life to it because you fear that you might loose honour. Know what I mean?
And if you still feel like doing it the old school way you can always raid BT and stuff.

Man i miss the old WoW, brang back some good memories i still play WoW but nothing will ever compare to old WoW... And already with this new death knight shit coming out in next x-pac already sounds like blizzard is going to fuck up the game more... Same here back in the days when i still was in mc with my guild =) 40 mans was so much funnier at the gear difrens between raiding, pvping and casuals showed how much and what skill you played at now you can just buy most of the best gear or gain it really simple by semi afking in bgs or just loose 10 games each week and get some arena points ... the game has turned out to be to easly to obtain good gear . it just isnt the same

And if you still feel like doing it the old school way you can always raid BT and stuff.
