Syabas! It's not easy to start an orchestra group in a muslim country like indonesia in which most of the population speak indon. Though the beat & ornamentation are not really satisfactorym, I think the soloist really put his heart into the music.
Thank You, actually the situation is very much better now. Did you hear the crowd, actually they are more than 2000 senior Bandung high school students which are mostly native.
I don't know exactly meaning of your comment, but maybe I can guess the ideas. According to your favourites video, the northern voice drier, is it ? Our video little bit Jiang Nan voice. CMIIW, Thx for comment
In Indonesia we don't have graduated teacher specialized in chinese music, so we learn from people who can play by experience. Thank you for your credit we still learn to improve our performance.
I think the orchestra needs some work..the solo was nice but I think you should listen to Jian guanyi...do you have his recording? The ornamentation in the intro needs some work..and the timing is incorrect in many sections.
Thank You for the information. We believe that in Singkawang still has many young generations whom have concern to their heritage. And I think we should not depend on the government of other country since they are part of Indonesian people, just keep on working and be persistence. :-)
Reminds me a bit of the Inca music from South America. It shows how universal some musical styles can be. A lovely piece. The best I've heard from your group thus far.
This is more visualize the mountain with sheep and shepherd. maybe the Incas also reflective their surrounding with high Andes mountain. Thank You for your comment

這是笛子與彈撥樂的牧民新歌嗎?
頗有江南絲竹的味道!
算是一創新之作!
