how do they have a loss??? are they loosing out on the there server bandwidth? I cant figure out how they can post a loss when there chargin sellers 9 percent then there paypal is charging 5 percent, makes no sense to me

Friend of mine has lost over $1000 in buyers filing false claims w/paypal saying they never got something when they signed for it.

Sellers are always getting screwed. The only answer is blocking people who ask dumb questions. They will bite you in the ass if they win something and no support from eBay.

im a buyer not a seller and for the past year i cant find anymore good deals on ebay. Too many sellers were kicked off and now you have a few sellers selling everything at retail prices. You hardly ever see No Reserve auctions, that is because if there arent any good deals on there (sellers gone) the buyers will not return, good example is myself. I know search craigslist/amazon and will usually find a better deal there...

Dumb a hoe ruined ebay, what a looser.. kick him out already!!!

eBay is getting desperate that they opened the doors to 'pirated' material from China (specifically HONG KONG) - their DS games, ipods, and everything are cheap but those are all bootleg. You can actually see what is wrong with pirated games in other youTube videos.

you will get results on the google page, on the left side of the page says: "sponsored links".

Click on the sponsored links with ebay or paypal dotcom or dotca or dot whatever.

Click as many times as you wish.

Each click google will charge them a tiny fee.

But imagine millions of unhappy ebay paypal users do the click every day everytime online, you can do your calculation.

You know what strikes me?

Most likely, they dressed up that earnings report like a scabby old hooker in a $100 dress to get it to even look that good. That included everything, from the Diamond level seller's extra listings to all their different sites. But i see they have still had nothing but bad news since the report came out anyway. More people getting caught selling stolen goods, more threads censored-moved deleted, and the noise is really getting loud.

The entire world HATES ebay.

In business, you need to treat buyers or sellers fair and square.

donahoe implemented this policy: buyers can give sellers negative feedbacks. But sellers can't give buyers negative feedbacks.

donahoe needs to understand that Without sellers there will be no income for ebay. Sellers are like tax-payers to a country.

Tax-payers pay government salaries and expenses.

Sellers pay donahoe salaries and allowances.

Without sellers, donahoe has to look for another job. May be a blow job.

I;m happy to see their earnins decline... they have abandoned what made EBAY in the first place, the availability of collectibles and such you cant find elsewhere. they are driving those types of sellers away, and soon will be left with untold numbers of people selling them same exact cheap new chinese junk, when that day comes, we can rejioce in the end of HITLERBAY

@kerrytdme It's already happening, if you search anything on Ebay majority of the ads are from China and it's all fake goods. I have seen the steady decline now for the past 7 years and even tho I'm a member I rarely sell unless I have to just because the buyer has way too much power and can screw me over. I will never sell anything over 100 bucks that's for sure

Donahoe failed to realize that sellers pay ebay commissions and fees.

ebay makes money from sellers. Buyers don't pay even a single cent to ebay.

Donahoe thought sellers must depend on ebay to sell. He failed to know that many power sellers have many other ways to sell their items. Other internet means, own websites, local antique malls / outlets etc.

Donahoe is lifting buyers balls/or boobs, thinking that as long as buyers are here, sellers must cry to come here to sell.

Donahoe blamed the economic slow-down /recession, but he did not want to admit that he is the only MAIN reason to cause ebay's lost.

He frightened away so many powersellers, he implemented no negative to buyers.

This is very lop-sided policy.

If ebay share-holders and bosses are not kicking him out of ebay.

One day, ebay will become a penny stock.

You are very correct. Donahoe LIED when blaming the loss of sales on the economic slow-down/recession. The reason people were NOT BUYING on ebay was because there was no stock on the site... Donahoe's padded and fake DRS's have single-handedly removed sellers and along with the sellers, the stock left too.

Last time I even looked on ebay all there was was cheap lead-filled Chinese trinkets and garbage that you could get anywhere but probably wouldn't anyway. Another thing- I saw a post on a financial talk board that claimed ebay was actually paying some of it's higher level sellers to go around making buys on the site. So they might even be padding both ends. The listings and the sales. Face it, no depths of deception are out of the picture with cheatbay.
