@tonyttt31 i completely agree. Marina's album seems to piss pretentious people off because the lyrics in places are "weird" or "try hard" or "cringeworthy".

What these critics don't realise that lyrics like that always do well (look at Tori Amos and Kate Bush) as they are HONEST, and fit in with the well crafted songs.

I think Marina and FLorence are the cream of the crop of recent women songwriters (and Santigold, Lykke Li, M.I.A and amy mcdonald).
