I wonder what my friend and neighbor Mr. Akot (a "Lost boy of Sudan") would think of this so called parody. I think after loosing his family and making it to America he has accomplished more than any 3rd rate (and I used the term loosely ) "film maker" ever could hope to. Unless of course he choose's to grow up and think more positively about his future as a film maker.

I don't quite see the point in making a video like this that seemingly makes fun of an extremely serious issue. Taking a story like that of the Lost Boys and turning it into a comedic matter is inappropriate and very offensive.

@B29Bomber There is nothing in the actual content of this video that belittles the suffering of Sudanese refugees. Post a time code if I'm wrong. If you stopped and thought for a second, you would realize that the whole joke here is about American ignorance. I know it's too subtle a notion for a lot of people who would prefer that certain topics stay "off-limits" for comedy, but that's a pretty small-minded view.

Against all odds, I'll try to reason with you. This video is a parody of a movie from the 1980s and has about one joke: that it shares its title with a tragic point in history. At no point is the suffering of Sudanese refugees ever used as fodder for comedy. Post a time code at the part you find offensive, otherwise, lighten the hell up. Oh, and God doesn't send armies to attack countries he doesn't like. That's just stupid.
