Youtube has been going down hill ever since Google took over. I absolutely hate this. Even if I watch it while logged out of my profile, or set Firefox to refresh every 10 seconds and let it sit for an hour, it goes nowhere.

Either way... it's a view counter, it is wrong. Intentional or not it doesn't matter.

It's not doing it's intended purpose thus it's broken. Glitch=broken.

@agun17 nopr, if the counter is made to do what it is doing how in anyway is it broken, it is made to stop at about 300 views, so if the counter stop at 500 or 600 then is would be broken because it is not made to do that.

@JJMontages big youtubers or a viral video, which means the video will be getting loads of views, when youtube updates the video views it only gives it around 1,000 views, it's hard to explain

Go to My Videos then go to the video you are referring too and click on insight, you will see something that says " Total views of this video: 977 In the selected range and region: 847 " something like that yes? the number at the left is how many views your video has got so far check it out see what it says, let me no

I'm no one popular on YouTube. A few of my videos have gone well past 301 but two of them have been stuck on 301 for a number of weeks now. I don't think your explaination makes sense. So tell me- Will they ever get unstuck??

Yes they will they need to be getting views tho that's why, my latest video was stuck on 301 for 2 3 weeks now its going up. this video has been like it for 4 5 weeks :/ so just play the waiting game lol

obv u need alot more views then 300 to get featued and you need to get alot of views from upload from a certain time frame to evan be considerd to get featured

i think they dont calculate vid stats everyday and they do it after a cetain amount of time from upload i dont think youtube would do it purposely at all thats not good for there reputation and to be honest i think your talking shit lol

It's just a case of your video getting views it maybe at 323 views now, but if it is not getting viewed then the view count will not go up

I uploaded it in one day and got 170 views first day, 2nd day it got 323 views, 3rd day it's stuck, I wouldn't say no one is viewing it.

Hmm well it is possible that no one is viewing it, but.. on your video where the views are do you see the little image of a question mark, "?", it tells you that if your getting views it will update them.. so I guess it just a waiting game if your video it still getting views
