@2freet Alexander Grischuk and I are friends, we studied in the same university, and started playing chess practically at the same time. I've played dozens of games with him. In this game, he was not happy about the way he made a mistake at the end, so it's normal he reacted this way.
and its probably the way chess competition goes. In one of your other clips you played againt Irina Krush and when she shook hands with youprior to the game she gave you a friendly look that you never returned. Maybe i should try that in my next competition LOL
@Mudd0000 in a blitz game anything can happen. Thats why i dont like blitz, although Alexandra you are good at that. It seems that you control well your nerves under pressure.
Thank you for all this games, but i was wondering if the moves 19. Ne2 Qxa2 20. Nd4 Nc4 21. Qf4 e5 are correct.. i wil order ur book and Dvd when i have the money for it. Thanks!

way to go alexandra that was very nice game i liked u mad atack on king side!!but between usi got a feeling Grischuk maybe feeling alitlle strage coz maybe he had a beautyful chess player woman as opponent! i hope to post new games soon greetings!
Alexander looked pretty hung over with the water and how tired he looked even at his level it's good to see even GM's make mistakes regardless good game for both of u
@murph2987 I always try to double check, triple check before playing a move. In this case against Grischuk, I was very surprised, to say the least :-)
I just love this whole set up you have. Showing the game on the board, you playing the actual game and then commentating on it. I wish all the chess vids were like this. Maybe its been done before but Im new to this format.. brilliant work.
Hello, Grandmaster Kosteniuk. I was wondering why at your level (grandmasters, top professionals) ,except in blitz games, people do not open with e4. Is it because the sicilian is overly analyzed and has proved totally equal? Does it mean that d4 gives white a little advantage, as everyone plays d4 at top level? Thanks.
@LNAdrien At top level you see both 1. e4 and 1. d4. One definitely cannot say that the Sicilian is overly analyzed, there is plenty of potential in most chess openings! Remember that the goal of the opening is to get to a playable middle game. People mostly choose openings to go well with their style of play. 1. e4 is more aggressive than 1. d4 which is more solid, and both are great first moves!
@Utforskaren Thanks for your question! After 23. Bxf7, in the case of 23. ... exd4 follows 24.Rh3 Bh6 25.Bxg8 Rxg8 26.Qh4 Rg7 27.Qxh6 Qxc2 28.Rg3 Rf7 29.Qf4 Ne5 30.Nxd4 and White is much better
@ulujm GM and IGM ( = GMI) are the same, it's the highest chess title available in chess, (International) Grandmaster. Next comes International Master (lower title), and FIDE Master (lower still).
@DrGenius73 Yes you are absolutely right! As is noted by Wikipedia: "Apart from World Champion, Grandmaster is the highest title a chess player can attain." Thanks for the clarification.
How could a Super-GM like Grishuk leave a pawn on f7 to hang like that? Strange. But maybe he did not have much time to think.. Great game Chessqueen, thx for posting
I believe Karpov once said that one can learn the most out of defeats,it will be a nice turn to see some of yours, and i am sure that there will be some educating material over there!
Cheers and congrats on your victories with top GMs.
So many high rated players are so cold with the hand shake... not making eye contact or even looking away (like in this vid!). So sad :-(... I would make eye contact with you and shake your hand for 10 minutes straight, because you are THE CHESS QUEEN YOOoOooOoOOUUU~! Thanks for vids.
@Rinehart9 Glad you find my game funny :-) It is a GM game, as are most of the games I comment on my channel. At the Moscow chess blitz world championship only Grandmasters (GM's) were invited to play.
Wow how can you be so smart & beautiful at the same time

Hello ChessQueen. You say that black is lost after Rg8, but why can´t he just take the knight on d4 after Bxf7?

Exciting game! Why do you prefer 1.e4 to 1.d4? I'm only 1600, but I feel much more comfortable with 1.d4 openings.
Fupper16 1 year ago
@Fupper16 It's a question of style. 1. e4 is more aggressive, but I also play 1. d4 on occasion. Both are great first moves!
