  • @Ubuntugeeks what you said is true but from my understanding, ubuntu has and has always had a large incompatibility with amd hardware. now it seems to be getting better, but its still not as good as intel. i once had a intel computer and support for it was great.

  • whenever i click on it to download it, it pops up and i click install and it pops up, but when it goes to the end user liscence agreement it turns grey and nothing is there to click on..what do i do?

  • @SnowboundC0DY thats strange. you should try the playonlinux version of installing it. go to playonlinux website and download and install that then just install wow from there alot easier.

  • When I double click on the installer, I get a box that says this;

    "No installer data could be found. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support."

    I downloaded the game client from battlenet.

  • @WhoAskedYouu that is streange. what version of linux are you using and are you using wine or playonlinux to do this?

    //UGeek1

  • @Ubuntugeeks I am using Ubuntu 11.10 and Wine 1.2

  • @WhoAskedYouu You could try to install it with playonlinux. playonlinux are using scripts to install so they install additional software.

  • Mine ended up with Cannot Connect to the News Server...

  • @DamnYouLightYagami

    Hi it sounds to me that your installlation of wine is wrong, so if you try to uninstall wine then install it by going:

    sudo apt-get --purge remove wine

    then

    sudo apt-get install wine

    and then try again it should work.

  • @Ubuntugeeks yes Ubuntu 11.10 and btw i Reinstall it but now it wont download the patches it just say Encounter Serious Problem and Force to close and Look up on Winehq and bla bla bla.

    So i cant play wow for some reason....

  • @DamnYouLightYagami Alrite I did all of that. Now my Wine wont open up. WoW Launcher.exe and WoW.exe will not open up

  • I'm trying to install it using wine and a client I found. Every time it gets to 5% i get and error and the installer stops
