@cokacutter Hi, yeah it's becuase in linux we dont get the software updates like dx10/11 as fast as windows and not all the software needed, and video driver and the list goes on. if you want to gaming. the best way is still windows :(. but there are solutions if you want you can use like Crossover games/ and an other one i cant remember the name of xD, software that increase the gaming experinse in linux and works alot better. i hope this helps ^^
@Ubuntugeeks what you said is true but from my understanding, ubuntu has and has always had a large incompatibility with amd hardware. now it seems to be getting better, but its still not as good as intel. i once had a intel computer and support for it was great.
whenever i click on it to download it, it pops up and i click install and it pops up, but when it goes to the end user liscence agreement it turns grey and nothing is there to click on..what do i do?
@SnowboundC0DY thats strange. you should try the playonlinux version of installing it. go to playonlinux website and download and install that then just install wow from there alot easier.
@Ubuntugeeks yes Ubuntu 11.10 and btw i Reinstall it but now it wont download the patches it just say Encounter Serious Problem and Force to close and Look up on Winehq and bla bla bla.
Hello, i have recently got ubuntu 11.01 on my computer with a 500gb hardrive, but when i tries to install world of wacraft or another program i can't use up more than 26gb. How do i fix this!
Hi ! you mean you got the 11.04 natty narwhal version, how much space did you set your linux installation for 11.04? did you use all space on your harddrive, are you running in a virtual box? or are you duelbooting, and do you got wine installed?
Woah! I just got Ubuntu 10.10 can you tell me how to get that background and all those side things you got? Im new to this, and I'm already loving ubuntu!
yes this works, but it tells me i have intensification cpu speed. and unlike in windows i cant play on my max settings.

When I double click on the installer, I get a box that says this;
"No installer data could be found. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support."
I downloaded the game client from battlenet.

@Ubuntugeeks I am using Ubuntu 11.10 and Wine 1.2
WhoAskedYouu 1 month ago
@WhoAskedYouu You could try to install it with playonlinux. playonlinux are using scripts to install so they install additional software.

@DamnYouLightYagami
Hi it sounds to me that your installlation of wine is wrong, so if you try to uninstall wine then install it by going:
sudo apt-get --purge remove wine
then
sudo apt-get install wine
and then try again it should work.
