  • excellent dancer! love his movements, natural, smooth and smiling (i hope one day balkan girls and boys will stop fighting for all of the nonsense and start sharing all there beautiful music dance and food)

  • I Love It

  • Seriously people? The guy danced beautifully and from his heart. Who cares who he is and where he comes from? He obviously enjoyed himself and it was done with passion! :) I might actually steal some moves for my dance group!

  • VIVA FAE SKATA MALAKA

  • To the skopian albanian who thinks he is a μακεδονα,go fuck urself malaka go do what you skopian albanians do best & thats litter the earth with ur existence, leave the dancing to us greeks. Jealousy kills μαλακα αλιθορα!

  • ρε παιδια αυτο ειναι ζειμπεκικο με λατιν μαζι...ελεος

  • Zorikos xoros paradosiaka kai ellinika stin Argentini ela re :)

  • whats the name of this song

  • @Petethegreek22 The song is "Δραπετσώνα" by Grigoris Mpithikotsis

  • @v1ss1 ευχαριστω να'σε καλα!

  • Sprry guys but Turkish Zeybek is much better.

  • @ekilice it´s not the same zeybek..

and about the greek zeybekiko. you cant say that something is better..

because the greek zeybekiko hasnt any moves.

    You dance how you feel..

Zeybekiko is an ancient greek dance.

Our zeybekiko has nothing to do with yours..

    Different history,different meaning,different nation,different steps.

There are 2 different zeybeks as you see..

Our zeybek is a expression way..

  • Anyone ever get kicked in the face?

  • @seabisquit45 yeah, some americans..

  • Greeks don't change the name of the dance. At least they show the fucking courtesy it and its inventors deserve, unlike some other ethnic groups, who steal away other people's liquors and desserts and give them ridiculous names. :)

  • @Vladimirovic This dance is 4000 years old

Why dont even think about to change it..

    why should we??

    It´s the god´s song.!

    Zeimpekikos = Zeus + Mpekos(bekos)

    Αθανατο το εθνος των Ελληνων..

    Ζητω η Ελλαδαρα μας..!!!

  • @Tolisakis97 I believe you have misinterpreted me, my friend. =) I'm merely distinguishing the manner in which Turks steal other people's cultural elements (i.e. Greek Ouzo -> Raki, Armenian Khadaif -> Kadayif/Künefe, and Hellenic Zeibekiko -> Zeybek havasi), yet Greeks themselves stick to their own dances, foods, drinks, etc. and tend to keep it as they are, by using their own first names/denominations.

  • @Vladimirovic ahh okayy!!

    i agree with you then^^

    haha

  • @Vladimirovic who says that ? let me guess ! greek aermanian or kurd ? :D hahaha moron rakı is not turkish ! had some one told you that ? rakı is arabic you moron. haha poor :D even this dance is not zeybek ! because zeybek dance is dance of breave men ! not like gay in this video :D zeybekiko is good choice for gay people :D

  • @MrEmretti :) No, it's actually a Turk who's saying that. As for the choice of the name; geez, no fuck. Of course it's Arabic. You don't have to be a linguistic prodigy to know that nearly 6500 words in the Turkish language derive from the once so relieved/admired language of your southern tribal neighbours, which more or less constitute the denominations in very distinguished commonplaces in the Turkish world, such as the musical (i.e. ''darbuka'') and culinary facet (i.e. ''helva'').

  • Comment removed

  • @MrEmretti The fact that Anatolian Turks once changed the name of the liquor, doesn't necessarily mean that this new name for the drink has to be Turkish of origin. If you'd actually have had sufficient knowledge of the English language, you would have known that I didn't say what the exact core/lingua gestio of the word ''raki'' itself was, but merely said that Anatolian Turks once decided to change the original name. ;) BTW, gay = ''happy''. And yes, this dance is for happy folks.

  • Whatever the case maybe, it took alot of physical skill and rthymn to dance like this.I believe the man danced good, and he entertained many people,so thats what only counts. The End

  • hahahahah i'm smiling greeks :D:DD:

your culture is copy culture :D:D:D fuck greek..

this is 'ZEYBEK' from Turkey ....

  • @PrensHaru Go google write zeibekiko wikipedia... and when u read the chronology(date im sorry but chronology is a word from the greek language) write zeybek and see the chronology again... Then keep laughin, because smilling isnt stick with hahaha... and copy culture is wrong... go to learn english

  • @NasakosS hahaha Wiki ? it is personal dictionary.. chancing everyday . but greek in the ottoman map. so zeybek is us we fucking your shit as every day. you are thief.. you play us culture Turkish Culture !

  • @PrensHaru So, is raki Turkish? Just like Kadaif? What about lokum-raxat? And halay/gowend? The fact that Asia Minor has always been a crossroads for just about every culture there, which has leapt about in the region, from Thrace to Cilicia to the very south of the cultural region called Kurdistan, makes no-one a thief of another's cultural elements in the preponderance of the cases. :) YOU are the proof of this all. Take your head out of your arse, my son, and be realistic for a change.

  • @PrensHaru fuck you !

  • @pers311 i fuck your mom again :D

  • Kagbgab - could not of put it better myself!!! I cannot ever get enough of the zeimbekiko dance/ music. Bazouki is the best instrument ever made. Greece is the best country in the world the people, the earth, the sea, the air, the food/wine ouzo you cannot beat it

  • As a zeibekiko enthusiast and one who loves this dance, this guy is the best i've seen, he is a brilliant dancer who feels every beat and has some great moves, i would happily buy him a drinks all night and smash a whole dinner set in appreciation, zyto e manges and the zeibekiko and long live greece, we may have financial problems, but knowone has soul and spirit like us.

  • @p3t3rgr if you are taking time to answer this racist scum, you're a true humanist. the world needs more of your kind. I am myself turkish by the way. However I don't believe in nations and states.

  • Pure Turkish Dance!!!

  • @ThePsAgent Even the zeibekiko name itself Turkish. dont tell me

  • @iliaskets if it's turkis dance why turkish don't know to dance it????

  • @iliaskets its turkish and greek my brother/ because the greek refugees brought it from asia minor . but the people whio wrote this where greek people, but i dont care it is in both our cultures. turkey and greece have more in common than people want hahaha. 600 words, food ,dances, music ,beautyfull women and beautyfull lands. history and pride. so lets be good komshu's and not fight about the baklava, kadaif, kofte or other things. we are only divided by politics and religion's. peace 2 u

  • @chrysabra

despite all this did you know that zeibekiko is the offspring of a greek dance that the warriors of alexander the great used to dance after great battles to honor the dead? and zeibekides were greeks form thrace who went to aidini and prousa

  • The Greek Zembekiko music and dance is unique to the Greek culture, the beat that is used, is the same in every Zembekiko and no other culture in the world has the beat of the Greek Zembekiko (this is why its unique), it is music that should be respected and that is loved and cherished by all Greeks.

  • I can't understand why people get to struggle from where a dance originally comes from - that's nonsens! For example the waltz - compare an english waltz to a viennese waltz - so different but finally a waltz - live in peace pls ... To start a war over dances is really not worth it!!!

  • I don't know why people are fighting for the dance zeybek and zeimbekiko looks so different to me. Turkish version is more slower greek ones is faster, yes there are some moves same but you can easily differentiate which one is Turkish and which one is Greek. So be in peace please.. We spend more than 700 years together, of course we will share lots of things...

  • This guys zembekiko SUCKS!

  • BRAVO

  • guys who cares ....enjoy the dance ...both cultures have this style of dance lets appreciate but also note that our cultures are so similar and other than the diversity of islam ....lets get on with appreciate this guys ....does any one know how comes its form argentina

  • zeybeks warriros were of turkmen and yoruk origin....and not greek... a leader of the zeybeks were called,efe......zeibekiko dance is originated from the turkish zeybek dance

  • @cnote007bud first of all zeibekiko was older than zeybeks

  • malaka....any greek didnt invent this dance...u just imitated Turkish warrior dance zeybek ..in ur culture most of thing is imitation of Turkish staff ..hahahaha..

  • Our dances also similar to each other...You call it zeibetiko we call it zeybek...We have maybe houndreds different form of it. Zeybek is played with its constat forms. You can not play zeybek spontanously like zeibetiko. It has certain figures. Altough that, they are similar to eachother.

  • @AKOLH2 HEY YOU CAN DANCE BETTER THAN HIM?

  • @mitsoula23 of course mate

  • @AKOLH2 rack off mate... as the highest rating comments say, "Zeibekiko has no steps, it is wat u feel" this is obviously a style of zeibekiko u havent seen... my advice, get out more frequently.. witness different styles before u comment on zeibekiko videos.... vlaka..

  • @im1hecticwog mila kalytera ilithie. I am not sure if you know which is this song, and you know about zeibekiko dance!!! You said that it has no steps and you are right. In Greece we laugh so loudly when we see these pretentious dancers

  • @im1hecticwog This is not what he feels. this is terrible... I am not bad mate. I dance zeibekiko 17 years and I know the difference between the real and the fake

  • @AKOLH2 alrite then.. but i think its a bit too much to say hes terrible.. to me, this guy is great.. he has some good moves and for someone who just rocks up to a taverna every now and again, its pretty good.. to me, if u dance zeibekiko professionally, ur dancing it with some sort of structure.. to me, its a dance that is not taught, but a dance that is observed and practiced through trial and error on certain moves... im not the best, but hey, i can pull off Roza and Zeibekiko ths Evdokias..

  • Zeibekiko is good dance but Greeks should have given a different name to it to make it more popular, this name gives it a smell of copying from really old Zeybek dance which comes from central Asia to Anatolia by Turks. It is not good to have close pronunciation with another dance which is totally different for a culture.

  • @35canefe

zeibekiko means, "zeybek-like". and it looks a little bit like zeybek, doesn't it? I see no problem.

  • @kackarkartali i wanted to take a look and saw the video you spoke of. Well...dear neighbour...you said something about "real zeibek"...and only that definition of "real" showing a lot of your way to think. What i saw there was something like "yalandsi dolma",but not zeibekiko.

zeibekiko is a dance from the soul, is not special effects.

u dance it like you feel it, spontaneous.

This guy is good but he is too 'set up'

  • Comment removed

  • @dukedelouben: Not true. Zebekiko is an individual dance that "does have specific steps and recurring patterns" that may include improvisation and showmanship (like standing on the glass). Exactly what this dancer is doing. I don't know about the soul thing but that may be true since it is whatever a dancer wants to add to the dance. That stuff that's done in night clubs and bars, it's not Zebekiko in is true sense. BTW this is one of the best Zebekiko I've seen.

  • @dukedelouben you are wrong my friend!!!zeimpekiko dance has steps on 9/8 rythm

  • @torikable well it depends... zeimpekiko is music, is rhythm, so categorized in some kind of step pace. Which is good if you want to enroll in some dance academy or if u want to impress. The thing you don't understand (i don't know if you Greek) is the inner soul flame (magkia) that derives from heart, and that my friend has no steps.

  • @dukedelouben i did not say anything different!!!of course it is an internal dance!but you must dance 9\8.yes i am Greek and i am a dancer.magkia is must!but you must know how to dance

  • @dukedelouben

90% are stamping grapes. 10% can dance zeibekiko. this guy belongs to the 10%.

"dance it like you feel, spontaneous, from the heart" is an excuse for people, who have no idea how to dance zeibekiko. this is one of the best zeibekikos I ve seen!

  • @otzerrystiskia zeibekiko derives from soul pain, it takes no classes to learn it. It's not a show. There is no good or bad dancers in zeibekiko, is a free form to express your feelings. The people clapping around the dancer is a lame habbit ! zeibekiko is an alone dance,. Tricks with glasses in the floor and other special effects is only if you want to impress a girl (asxeto : skiere tzerry ellhnas eisai ?)

  • @dukedelouben
