We don't know if these stories of suicide are true. Even if they are suicide is a mental problem, not a medical one. This old woman is the last person I'd want counselling me. It is absurd to assert that the fetus(which means little child) is part of the woman's body. The fetus has it's own DNA and contains the some of the characteristics of the mother. The two are only connected the umbilical cord.
