@nobodysprince Quality? There are many things wrong with this game. It shows its age. The story is fragmented, the lurkers have no real purpose, but to annoy you since they are useless. Not to mention I found Daxter's personality distasteful. They fixed that in Jak 2. It got better towards the end, but I felt the game ended abruptly, by going to the yellow sage right into the final level. I felt jipped out of an entire sequence of levels. Not to mention that the sages weren't explained
@BlackFlame208 And the original storyline to investigate precursor artifacts was hollow and still didn't reveal anything about them by the end of the game. Over all it was a good game, but there could have been more polish.
@BlackFlame208 - I understand your points. Indeed, everything has been developed much further in Jak 2, thanks to more varied gameplay and a deeper and more suspensful storyline. However, I prefer Jak 1, because I enjoy the simplicity and the more beautiful landscapes, which to me makes it feel like more of a journey, rather than just an open-world video game a la Jak 2.
NEVER has this game been beaten in quality!
