@BasketofLotion Lol, blood is eaten all over the world without any mention of vampires. Blood sausage is well known and widely used in the British isles.. as well as the rest of Europe. Don't be so rude.
Dont dis untill you try it! Just because it says "blood" doesnt mean its all fricken blood! At home when we make it there is only a liter of blood in a 150 pound batch.
@AllDaThings like every christmas dinner?wow! hey i like that idea. i could try that this year:D only my dad and i would end up eating it i bet:D my mom wont even try it
Sorry 1108 but there's some vegan stuff I can't understand eating that smells like feet and armpits mixed together.
Though I'd never be preachy about it. My bro's wife is a veggie (she'll have by-products like milk ect) but knows my bro loves his steaks. Her whole attitude is the correct one. She just feels that she doesn't decide to eat it but doesn't try to stop my bro
My grandpa always used to make this stuff for breakfast if he had some extra blood handy. I usually had my pancakes with bacon instead. Although I did try it once... 'nuf said.
We used to eat black pudding for breakfast all the time in England, but then we moved to the U.S. and the only kind of black pudding you can get here is the nasty processed crap that no one would touch back in England...the chicken mcnuggets of blood sausage!
I'm from england and eat black pudding all the time. I don't mind that its blood at all. I reckon that if you have no problem eating the flesh of an animal, you should be ready to try other parts of it which don't seem as appetising!
@daniellindsay007 no one makes money on this. it is just my hobby. he does videos at work so i ask ed if he woud help me make some of my hobby. so i realy only get money spent but no one makes any money
@daniellindsay007 Seems like someones father didn't love them? His dad is doing a really nice thing making videos of his son for his sons and his enjoyment, and im pretty sure raising 2 kids on 1 parents wage would be rather hard so think before you talk.
in Vietnam , this is very popular to eat with washy rice (boiled washyly) and duck meat . But it's not the sausage shape . People just boil blood and we have a pudding , very delicious :|
Or you can order with soup i think .. it's tasteless , tasted like gracilaria
@mypetridish its comforting to know that in other countries dont waste the animal like we do in america. dont u think? if someone killed me for food they better drink my blood and use my bones for something.
@mypetridish Because that would taste awful. Blood sausage, on the other hand, tastes phenomenal. I recommend that you grow up, open up your mind a little and stop judging things before you try them. That is how you enjoy life.
You should try some Cajun foods like possum, squirrel, tasso, boudin, boudin blanc, crawfish (and the yellow fat from the head, yum), okra, persimmons, garfish, green tomatoes, chokeberry jam and of course alligator.
@88hunghung Well, maybe you shouldn't have added the gross part lol! Gross? I'd rather not! We had a culteral feast at our school and someone brought this thing called blut wurst! I'm not sure how you spell it, but it's quite great actually! Well, it DOES kinda have a displeasing flavo at first!
@kateevans1987 I just noticed how incredibly badly my last comment was typed.Sorry about that. but thanks for the reply :) you should absolutly try a full english though!
@kateevans1987 i have so many mistakes in my coments too:) i can write well if i take time but i never take time online:) i am sold on full english though! sounds lke it will keep you full all day.
@FoodOddities they used to make them all over here (I live in malta a small island in the mediterranean) but when we entered the european union hygene rules forbid the butchers from making it unless they had some special hygene techniques I think thus the butchers are not making it any more, altough I found a local "meat supermarket" that had it but when I went to buy they had run out :(
I loved it when I was a kid, you could buy it with mixed in raisins, which makes it sweet tasting!!!!
@smashstuff300 i foud a lot of things in asian markets. when i was at one last week i saw frozen frogs, chicken feet, pig intestines! so many things taht would be so gross to show!!
Have you ever gotten sick from eating a lot of different foods (ie from insects/reptiles to different body parts?) My family actually eats this meal called HUMOTO which is popular in the Eritrean & Ethiopian culture. @SenaitSM thank you! i have never gottten sick from som e thing i ate but i did throw up a couple of things:) the taste was so bad or like the scorpion i ate was like eating lobster shell.
