i really feel bad for foye now that he plays for the wiz. last year he was averaging like 16 pts in 35 minutes this year he is only playing 18 minutes and averaging 7pts so i think the washinton is a bad fit fot him

This is only his first year with the wizards give him some time and he'll adjust well into the wizards offense. Keep in mind, that Randy was playing under the wings of Gilbert Arenas, and Caron Butler and now that their both gone, Randy should have an opportunity to grow and probably be the wizards new franchise player.

to be honest foye nor arenas are true point guards, but i think gilbert can play the 1 better than foye, and gilbert is faster than foye, gives a better edge when running the floor

i still believe having a better point guard is more important than having a better shooting guard, having a player run the floor for your team is the key thing in winning ball games, although i agree that gilbert plays the 2 better than foye, he also plays the 1 better than foye, gilbert is better than foye in almost every aspect, gilbert will draw more attention at the 1 leaving open players to set up.

nah you got it backwards...yes gilbert is a better point guard but gilbert needs to be at the two...it was his main position outta college and yes it is tru that having a bette pg is more important...and gilbert will draw more attention at the 2 cuz all he need to do there is score...at the 1 he'll be limited to being pass first instead of shoot first...

well i guess we both have valid points, because gilbert has better ball handling and quicker, its harder for certain point guards to keep up, randy foye is slow and cannot set up players as well as gilbert, and if you didnt know foye started as a 2 at villanova and then switched to point later on also, but bottom line is gilbert is the main man and whether he plays the 2 or 1 i think he`ll be effective in either positions

woah woah woah...foye is not slow at all..and yes he did play the two in nova...but he has the body size of a 1...he's too small to play the 2 in the NBA... and gilbert is an oversized point so he can play the 2...but gilbert would be more effective at the 2 cuz all he has to do is focus on scoring...at the point he has to get everybody involved and last yr in the few games he played he was being a tru point but he only had like 15...

how is gilbert oversized? they are both 6`4"... so as a matter of fact foye is actually bigger than gilbert, gilbert is smaller than foye, im not saying foye is slow liek shaq but at the 1 he isnt too fast looking from the likes of it, hes quick but not fast, gilbert is not only quick, but fast also, being a 1 requires speed, agility, and vision from what i see gilbert has all three i dont see why he wouldnt start at the 1 hes a pretty good point guard

ok your starting to talk out of your ass...the average PG is 6'2 - 6'3 and the average SG is 6'6 or taller...ok wade is 6'4 but he has ups and he's probably top 3 in the fastest players in the league...and foye is not bigger than gilbert...foye is 6'3...and a tru point guard and a tru shooting guard has all those attributes you just named...the difference....SCORING...if gilbert runs the 1 he has to put his scoring on the back burner and any smart fan would never allow that...

okay now youre getting sensitive, i didnt wanna make this emotional for you, but this is alll opinion, we all know that being a point doesnt necessarily mean you have to put down youre scoring, if thats the case chris paul,deron williams, baron davis, mo williams shouldnt be scoring at the level theyre at, all the wizards need arenas to do is put up at least 18 ppg due to the fact that they already have butler and jamison, you cant really expect arenas to drop 20+ like he used to, do you?

they are both around the same height maybe a 1 in. difference. im talking aobut theyre size not height, if you look at dejuan blair hes like 6'7, thats a 3 height but his size and rebounding ability puts him at the 4, foye has more size as a sg than arenas, im not saying that arenas cant play the 2, that is his primary position afterall i dont really give care whos better at what, i just want arenas to be healthy end of story, no more debating, cause obviously we're not coming to an end on this

and gilbert only averaged career lows in scoring was because of his injuries, not because he wasnt good at the point, as a matter of fact in the 2008-2009 season, he only played 2 games, and within those two games he averaged 10 assists per game, total of 20 assists within two games, now if thats not a good point guard what is?

He is 25 bout to be 26 so that makes me wonder if he's maxed out but we'll see what happens in Wash. I had my doubts but hopefully some of this can help my Wizards out more than DeShawn can.
