@noobie1890 It's hard to say without knowing specifically which lens it is, but at $150 it's probably not very fast (meaning it's probably and F4 or F5.6). It might be a good starting lens if you're looking to so some telephoto stuff outdoors. I likely wouldn't work well for you indoors, but I'm just making a guess based on the price point.
@Cinevate Well as a 14 year old, I don't get payed as much as other people, so I was wondering which camera would be better to go with? A 60D, 550D, or 7D? I heard they're all the same quality, but I'm looking for a good price for a good camera. a camera that takes great photos and videos.
@noobie1890 I use a 7D myself, but at the time I was doing some commercial work to pay for it. If you're just starting out I'd go with the most affordable of those. The 60D is a bit better, more so on the stills aspect as the video is basically the same on all three of those models. You're real investment will be in your lenses. Fast lenses are pretty expensive, but if you spend more on your lenses you can use them on all of your Canon bodies down the road as you upgrade your camera body.
The basic simplis is WAY too expensive for the NEX user. Maybe if you went with a less modular design to keep the cost down. But, i cant see many people dropping $400 for that.
I found a Canon 300mm lens for $150 at Best buy. Is that a good lens?
