These are lies, the IP changing doesn't work if you work with a router, if you work with a router and you wanna change IP then you just have to pull the plug out and put in back in (in most cases) some providers have static ipadresses, you'll have to ask then to change it to the provider. Another way to get yourself "unbannable" in most cases is just open etkey with notepad and remove all the text in it and save it. This will make you unbannable (xp , level, ...) will not be saved either!
Heh.. think alil.. if you reset your router by pulling the plug out.. you are changing your ip that way... but its faster if you do it manualy.. you need like 15sec if you do it manualy.. but if you reset the router the whole building will be without internet(in some cases : tv , phone , other computer & devices ) so its not worth it and still you have to wait some time for your router to reset.
And by deleting all in etkey its the same as deleting it ;) its simplier just to delete
@kev2555 Depends on what sort of infrastructure you have, if I change IP manually through the windows forms, you change your inside IP, but not the outside. The only other way to obtain another IP without pulling the plug out is going to the webinterface, and there should be some button to disconnect and reconnect to the internet. About the ETKey, it'll show your GUID as "Invalid GUID" on the server, if you delete it you'll just have a new etkey again (bannable again)

Are you using wireless or utp cable connection ??
kev2555 11 months ago
@YouMasterism
No.. its NCPA.CPL
If you cant acces it like that there is an other way:
(in windows xp)
START/CONTROL PANEL/NETWORK CONNECTIONS - This is the same as typing ncpa.cpl in run.
