    You don't know what you're talking about. That plastic was meant for that stuff. Even Gordon Ramsay uses that to wrap his ham and beef when it's hot.

    For all those, who are susceptible to "chemistry-related panic": Plasticwrap is rather Heatproof.

    Though you sear the meat at several hundred degrees, the meat does not have this temperature. Theres no danger in putting "hot" things into plasticwrap, though I wouldn't try this with freshly made caramel, which is REALLY hot(the meat is not(!)

  • Yes, his veg looks like crap but I bet they taste just fine. It's true that we eat with our eyes, then nose, then mouth. He made two mistakes with his presentation. First ALWAYS serve food on TOTALLY white plates for best effect. Second: Shine! Shine! Shine! It's sort of like to food what location location location is to Real Estate. He should have used butter or something else to glaze the veggies to make them shine. Grouping them closer on appropriate sized plate.
