In the rule book the grates isen't allowed. You need to try to stop and have controll before you throw the disc. Have you ever heard someone call on it?

Why would the play have a proper name if it wasn't permitted? You can actually catch and throw the disc without ever even slowing down as long as you do it within 3 ground contacts(steps) after the catch. As there is no ground contact, The Greatest is most awesomely within the rules.

you are completely wrong about what you said. the greatest is very allowed in the game. there is no rule that says you have to have control to throw it. hell you could kick it back in and it would still be a legit greatest.

i have played lots of sports basketball baseball xc soccer volleyball...and i have to say..each sport has its own feeling that makes it awesome..but frisbee...frisbee has shaped my life..its easily the most underrated sport out there and everyone i tell that to laugh.. and say its wossy..but i dont really care..frisbee is a game of champions

it depends on what level your playing the game on, i've played teams that have no idea what they're doing, and play ultimate because they consider it a joke. If you do however play disc at a highly competitive level, hands down it involves more athleticism in the way of constant running. hard to compare two sports and make a real decision.
