It's typical for republicans to think short term and think with their wallets. Health care reform has very important long term benefits. Long term health care benefits are that it will lower costs and save money. The way corporations are running things, costs for Americans are going up. 40,000 Americans die every year for lack of health care.
Health care reform saves money and saves American lives. It is an investment in the American people.
That is what it comes down to. I do not have the money to pay for your medical bills....do you have the money to pay for mine? The government has no money. Apparently, my family has shopped and we have good health insurance. I recently lost my father. He had pre-existing conditions and MANY complications over the years. His insurance was fantastic.

Last summer Bush was approached by his commanders in Afghanistan about increasing troop strength. He declined. Moreover, he under-resourced the effort for years by diverting men and material and intelligence gathering to the entirely needless war in Iraq. Obama sent more troops in shortly after taking office.
Health care in Canada, The only thing I quoted from Beck is the title of his new book. I have no idea what he says about health care anywhere, nor do I care. I do know that social health care does not work so well. Taxes get raised, quality of care goes down. I've personally seen this from both Canada and Europe. If you get this health care you think is so great then don't get upset when you here things like VAT, If you need google what that is, I'm sure you probably have no idea.

The way corporations are running things, costs for Americans are going up. 40,000 Americans die every year for lack of health care.

Apparently, my family has shopped and we have good health insurance. I recently lost my father. He had pre-existing conditions and MANY complications over the years. His insurance was fantastic.
I would have definitely NOT wanted government run care for him.

How can you trust people who don't know you or anything about your to handle your money better than yourself? I'm not against government; I'm for limited government. I'm not against education spending, but I would prefer it be done at a local level. I'm not against the environment, but I don't support spending billions on global-warming hysteria.

Spending on the military is Constitutional. Conservatives believe having a strong military is the only way to protect our liberties that so many in the world want to take away. It is not Constitutional to redistribute the wealth. People need to take more personal responsibility for their own lives.
Spending too much on military can be dangerous too. That is no excuse to expand our government even more. That isn't an excuse to steal from others to pay for government programs.

Conservatives routinely describe the governement as wildly incompetent and prone to wasting taxpayer money EXCEPT when they are referring to the military, which they typically praise as extremely competent and efficient. Why hasn't the free market been better able to control costs, operate effectively without denying coverage to those with pre-existing conditions and dropping those who are unlucky enough to become serously ill? You need to learn your facts, Bush did send troops to Afganistan as well as funds for a large training facility to be built so that the Afgans can train their own people to protect themselves. I have many friends in Iraq and Afganistan and I will tell you the drawdown in Iraq by Obama also has hurt and put troops and civilians in danger in Iraq. Last summer Bush was approached by his commanders in Afghanistan about increasing troop strength. He declined. Moreover, he under-resourced the effort for years by diverting men and material and intelligence gathering to the entirely needless war in Iraq. Obama sent more troops in shortly after taking office.

Health care in Canada, The only thing I quoted from Beck is the title of his new book. I have no idea what he says about health care anywhere, nor do I care. I do know that social health care does not work so well. Taxes get raised, quality of care goes down. I've personally seen this from both Canada and Europe. If you get this health care you think is so great then don't get upset when you here things like VAT, If you need google what that is, I'm sure you probably have no idea.

If you do not know why then you are either not from the US or you have never been to any other countries. I like Europe, visiting and living in the middle east was interesting, Canada is also a nice place to visit. However, none can compare to the US in freedoms and opportunities. As for your comment about Hillary taking a hard line with Pakistan, that's laughable. With the billions that we give them in non-military aid (fact) we can afford to be hard-lined (as you say) with them.

As for 'spreading the wealth', this is precisely what allowed for the GI Bill after WWII, which reward those who fought for our freedom a free education and was responsible for the birth of the middle class in this country. Ok, I looked up this person, and yes, he was associated with a Marxist group in the 90s. However, this hardly makes him a czar, seeing as again, czar and communist are mutually exclusive. In addition, by the time he was going to become the Special Adviser for Green Jobs, he had already broken off of the group, so saying he is a communist after he quit the group, is unfair to say the least.

He has tremendously reversed American foreign policy and improved our country's image. He provided health insurance to 4 million children that were uninsured. Theres a reason the White House is targeting Fox.. It's because Liberals and Independents watch Fox news along with Conservatives and Republicans..They obviously aren't looking to gain conservative support, they dont want to lose the independents that voted for Obama in 08
