I bet the summon Broke your BP as soon as the HP attack landed, meaning Golbez would get the Brave Pool, but by then, it was too late.

i don't think that that is a bug. you inficted the damage (by attaking him with the hp attack),

then your brave turned 0 since that is the effect of your opponents summon. (I'm not sure if that is the real ability but it's near :P)
