Yeah, give it up for hollywoodizing everything. Just look at the Pride and Prejudice (2005), first proposal done by Mr. Darcy. They put Lizzy and Darcy out in a dramatic, rain storm with dratamic music and had them screaming their brains out at each other. In the book, the scene takes place in a calm house and the two raise their voices but don't spaz out on each other.
