  • the most beatiful theme I've ever heard in my life ....

  • John Williams has written a more powerful love story in musical orchestration form than George Lucas has ever written on screenplay.

  • @AspergianMind You mean a better love story then Twighlight right?

  • I needed a napkin to contain all the excitement from the epicness of this song

  • So beautiful and peaceful like your moving across the stars

  • what a beautiful piece of music ! absolutely genius :)

  • i really wish my school band would play this for our pop concert...

  • 2:35 is an evil picture but anyways nice love the pics and the song

  • possibly the most beautiful piece I have ever heard...

  • 3:)0 danger

  • One of my favorite John Williams pieces. Period.

  • anakin skywalker <3

  • the love story in Attack of the Clones was complete shit, but this pice of music is lovely :)

  • When I hear this name I immediately think of family guy.

  • @thatlookscool Not sure why, this wasn't in any of the Family Guy SW films. You are thinking of Binary Sunset.

  • @adfsghjn John Williams was killed in the first family guy star wars movie along with Luke's (Chris's) mother.

  • Poor Anakin... after Episode III-Revenge of the Sith... Natalie did change. On the contrary she contradicted her own script.

  • u kno its weird but this song makes me wanna kill a kitten

  • @4:39 ahh i just had to put this here as a replay button for myself. love that part

  • yo sólo veo las pelis de lucas y de spielberg pos la música del maestro Williams

  • Played this back in High School while in the orchestra. The movie had just come out and our teacher was a huge Star Wars fan.

  • This music deserved a better romance to go with it.

  • This is...th..this is awosme :')

  • press 0 for best part

  • my mom and dad saw attack of the clones before they devorste and i love this song so much

  • The prequels sucked but damn the music was awesome!

  • @caseydude97 The music from those three is certainly some of the most amazing music ever written, ever. Period. However, the storyline, plot, and acting were all lacking. Sure, it had great cgi, but there were so many holes that many star wars fans were disappointed. The thing about the original trilogy is that it had a much more realistic, serious vein to it that bespoke and epic storyline intended to span many generations. Episodes I-III simply d not have that same power.

  • @BlindDilemma Oh please. You could say that for episode 2 maybe, but 1 and 3 set up the original trilogy. When you look at simply the plots...episode 3 has a more complex plot than 4, 5, or 6

  • @BlindDilemma it's all yoda's fault ... what a stupid green thing

  • @BlindDilemma Actually, I think by the second movie JW was just phoning in the music too - just like the actors. Fortunately even JW phoning it in is still pretty good. I guess if you took this music and put it to a movie that is what the prequels COULD have been had they had decent scripts and direction, you wouldn't have anything to complain about - but unfortunately as you say, everything else lacked (actually I'd go further than that and say sucked donkey balls)

  • Great video.

  • george Lucas should continue to make The Star Wars movies but it should continue after Episode III and it be like when luke was a boy and when obi wan was starting to get old. It should show ho luke grew up and obi wans training. That would fit with the saga

  • The only song to make me ball like a little girl....this song.....seriously is intense... i love it. but it makes me teary eyes..every..single..effing...time!!!!!!

  • I pray to God everyday hoping that George Lucas will continue making more Star Wars movies :-'( Please, God, hear my petitions.

For the Republic and for the Jedi Order...

May the Force be with you

  • @tzimis132 shit man... hold on to her!

  • This song makes me remember my girlfriend and i'm feeling that i will lose her:(((

  • I'm the first to admit I wasn't the biggest fan of the prequels. I still own them and like watching them but from a critical perspective as a massive fan of the original trilogy, they play like an extended "let's take away that interest you had" session.

HOWEVER, I have no problem admitting that the soundtracks are fucking breathtaking, especially this piece.

  • 1:40 SO FREAKING EPIC

  • @ThePiouuuuu *broke

  • If you don't like john williams, you're on the wrong planet.

  • @gumbyrum so i guess there are 18 alien on this planet

  • wonderfoul song........it makes me cry:((

  • I bet this plays as background music whenever anyone commits suicide. Especially with a knife through the heart...

John Williams is a genius. I'm sure he feels like a god whenever conducting one a concert. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • classic music is an art..

  • @LegendOfUtopia A seemingly dying one at that unfortunantly... The new music just doesnt compare

  • One of John Williams best!!!!!!! :)

  • la epidermis de gallina con semejante temazo

  • best song ever

  • nice this rocks

  • I think a lot what I like about the prequels is simply the songs. I remember before the movies came out they would release those long trailers with the full-length centrepiece song and little clips telling the story.

I think I enoyed those a lot more than the final films. This is much more romantic than the romance plot in 'Clones'. Duel of the Fates is much more exciting than that lightsaber fight. If you ask me, John Williams is responsible for most of the emotion in those movies.

  • if you listen closely from 00:00 to 5:34, you will here this really really good part of the song

  • Damn. So beautiful. o_o

  • all his scores sound the same... boring

  • Beautifully insane.

  • I LOVE THIS ISH!!!! STAR WARS! SO ROMANTIC!!!!

  • best. composer. of. our. time.

  • There are many great composers in film, but the top four would have to be Danny Elfman, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, and especially John Williams. Way to make movies sound great.

  • YO! YOU PEEPS NEED TO STOP HATING ON LUCAS!

    I LOVED THE PREQUELS!

    the original was good though.(:

  • It"s so beautiful ...

  • @Ckrooss PFFF HAHA lol ckrooss

  • John Williams actually puts talent and effort into his scores, unlike almost all other film composers these days... And I did love the prequels. Episode I was awesome, and I thought III was absolutely incredible. Besides Hayden's acting I suppose. My least favorite of those three would definitely be II, though I liked all the scenes with Coruscant... God I want to live there. Star Wars is such a great retelling of what's going on in our own society today. George Lucas is a smart guy.

  • Am i the only one who gets annoyed by comments making unoriginal puns from the dislikes?

Anyways, this song is so moving. I couldn't help but learn it on my bass and just play along with it over and over. It felt like I was playing in another world. So beautiful

  • 13 people are Deaf

  • I'm dreaming ...

  • As I was listening to this, I just realized that I wouldn't like Star wars that much without John Williams music.

  • I think this music is the only thing that makes Anakin and Padme's relationship romantic at all.

It sure wasn't the acting and the dialogue! (Don't get me wrong, I love the prequels, but...Hayden Christensen? Really?) At least in the original trilogy the actors managed to turn even bad dialogue into great lines :P

  • 2:46 This music is galactic conquest in Battlefront II.

  • fuck all of the people who thought prequels sucked, they didnt suck only thing i didnt like about them was that it made originals look like stone age technology compared to prequels. other wise they kicked ass, morwe than any super gay movies that are just now coming out!

  • @caseydude97 wasn't super gay one of the green hornets enemies?? lol

  • @caseydude97 Agreed.

The ridiculous hate against "Episode 1" is a PERFECT example on that if you make a sequel to something that people used to love several years ago, with more advanced and better looking effects, fan-boys WILL. HATE. IT. Just BECAUSE!

It's the exact same thing with the new Indiana Jones movie.

I think that movie is AWESOME and I totally got the old Indie feeling when I saw it in theater.

Worst part is that people who complain on sequels never even have any proper arguments...

  • @caseydude97 Fuck you, the originals were awesome you ungrateful sack of shit.

  • @thest3alth he never said the original trilogy wasn't awesome, he just said the prequels didn't suck.

  • @thest3alth He never said they weren't, he said the new trilogy doesn't suck just because it's new like so many star wars fans stupidly think...

  • @caseydude97

    FUCK YEAH! YOU'RE RIGHT!!!!

  • 13 people are deaf

  • En realidad esta basada en la melodía central del epsodio IV, a New Hope, es ese tema, con algunos ajustes.

  • What a paradox. How can be all the aspects in a movie be represented in one saga by one director?! What the fuck have you done Lucas? How are others supposed to compete with this awesomeness of yours?

  • @AnnihilatorCZ all aspects including the aspect of over done cgi, emotionless dialogue and just flat out bad movies. (referring to the prequels)

  • Tum tum, dum, tudududum tum, tudududum tum, tum, tum dum. Tum dum, tum, tudududum tum, tum dum, tum. La la laaa la la la lalalala lalalaaaa la la la la la laaaa.....

  • The oboe solo is one of the most beautiful solos ever played!

  • @BMTHA7XTHEUSED John Williams' oboe concerto will be created the 25th of June with the Boston Pops Orchestra. It may be more beautiful!

  • Some of my favorite SW music. The music from Kotor and Kotor II is also awesome!

  • Despite the disappointment of the prequel films, to me, they were still very much enjoyable (Episode II in particular). To be honest the writing and story are the only things that were a letdown; the acting was bearable, The Effects: Gorgeous, The Action: Epic, The Lore: In-depth, and (obviously) The Music: Spectacular! I truly did love Attack of the Clones; I know I'm a minority on this, and maybe it’s just Nostalgia, but I will be watching the Star Wars Prequels for years to come <3

  • @Reclaimer1547 :: lightsabers activate across the arena:: you're not alone, many thought similar things :)

  • @Reclaimer1547 yeah watching Yoda fly around like a fighting pickle was epic...the prequels were shit from beginning to almost the end. The last 30 seconds of Sith where Obiwan delivered the twins to Tatooine with the binary stars music playing...that felt like star wars...the rest was a waste of my time and money...it felt like George Lucas went back in time and molested me as a child.

  • @MegaPokerMon Yea I know they are pretty bad compared to the originals; the thing is when the prequels started coming out i was just getting into Star Wars and I was in 2nd Grade, as such I loved them and thought they were great. But as i got older i realized how silly they were, but even so I still have a Nostalgia factor for these movies, that allow me to rewatch them with full enjoyment :) part of that is because of the music, like this song as well as the action and so on.

  • @Reclaimer1547 true it would have helped had i been a kid when i saw the prequels...as it was I was not a kid and I was offended from start to finish...offended that I ever spent a dime on Star Wars lol...its not a mistake ive made since.

  • They are not remaking it just rerealesing all of them in 3D

  • Alas, the missing Swan Lake score!

  • Only Hans Zimmer could've done a more beautiful love theme!!!! Well done Johnny boy!

  • @Zortex93 No, neither him could!

  • I'm sorry but...what kind of person can DISLIKE this music? I mean, even an earless person could feel how beautiful it is...I don't understand. Really.

  • The best piece of the prequel trilogy, and one of only two from it to be worthy or really even close to the original trilogy(the other being duel of the fates). It stands proud next to anything though

  • i think everybody knows this: ''A jedi shall not show hatred, nor anger, nor love''

thats exactly what happened to anaakin. the love of anakin for padmé was abbused by chancelor palpatine (lord sidious) and so he gave him false statements en expressions of hope for a better time. and so, he killed padmé (almost) en got both his legs cut of. after that he could never love again

  • @lotteskatergirl1993 until his son

  • dio ca che sborata

  • I really want to figure skate to this!!!

    So inspiring!!!!!!!!

  • i dont understand people who dont like this

  • whats up with all the star wars hate?

i loved the first 3 as much as the most recent 3.

  • I hope it'll be my wedding music, because it's beuatiful and romantic.

  • this is my wedding music , and all i can say is " THANK YOU JOHN WILLIAMS " my wife and i will never forget you and all you did for us

  • there are not any words to say what I feel when I hear this music, maybe just one, and the word is too low... Amazing!

  • @ackechi4 Why are they going to remake all the movies?? The first three came out "recently", I think they should just remake the other three movies that are the oldest ones (:

  • @caroolcoser they arent "remaking them". theyre reformatting them for realD 3D.

itll be a true nerds dream come true. SO EXCITED.

  • @caroolcoser

There is no remaking going on. Just conversion to 3D

Also, I think the shit ones should be the ones that spring to mind when thinking of remaking films, which would be the new ones. Quality ought to be the motivator in remaking, not age.

  • This is first song i learned(by myself) on the guitair, piano, and violin

  • this is very touching and beautiful <3 nice work ^^

  • 13 people have turned to the Dark Side...

  • For once the harp is not doing rips, I love it!

  • 13 people dont belive in love that someone can be drawn to hate, for love.

  • @ackechi4 no, they just think it was shockingly badly handled by someone who can't write for toffee (Mr Lucas) John Williams is a genius on the other hand. :-)

  • @philce3k I agree, John is an extraordinary composer. But George(Lucas), has and will always have one of the greatest stories/script ever written. Even though J.R.R Tolklien's masterpiece got less retail than Star Wars. Lord of the Rings soundtrack was a utter masterpiece.

P.S. They are remakeing all 6 Star Wars movies for theaters. Starting with The phantom Menace in 2012 then the next every year. ^_^

  • @ackechi4 dammit not again. I swear, by 2050 they'll have justin beiber playing qui gon in some prequel prequel trilogy and then they'll edit his face into episode I. enough with the remakes already.

  • @waldoman7 This is a great occasion for John Williams. Perhaps they will edit the film, and put the music that have been cut (the great duel and many other tracks).

  • So many great memories of this song I remember first watching Epidsode 2 I was at Disneyland earlier that day then at night I went to Downtown Disney to see it one of the best days of my life

  • I think the movies were great, and the scores are just amazing. So beautiful..

  • 13 peoples should die right now ¬¬

  • @fidelrj5 Do not make Skywalkers mistake. =P

  • @TheShaper38

    so true ^^

  • 13 peoples should die right now ¬¬

  • This song. I can't seem to help it but it chills me too my feet. Truly sensational

  • Good song, very relaxing indeed.

  • I'm a sithlord, but i like this music. i hope other sithlords don't find out.

  • I wonder how the fan boys would appreciate a reboot of the prequels without the help of Rick McCallum and George Lucas, just the brilliant score that John Williams wrote

  • With the risk of being completely bullied by comments - I think that some parts of this reminds me of that live-action Peter Pan movie with Robin Williams, "Hook". Just some parts.

  • @Soulacia It's true. They use a similar melody, but seeing as its the same composer...

  • MASTERPIECE

  • "Hold me, Ani. Hold me like you did by the lake on Naboo... so long ago when there was only our love..."

I nearly puked into my popcorn when I heard that line!

One thing you can't criticize about the prequels is the music. George Lucas may not be the galaxy's greatest director, but John Williams definitely has to be one of the greatest composers of all time. I'm sure people will be revering his music in 200 years time in the same way they do Mozart and Beethoven now...

  • @jamesgravil No politics, no plotting, no war...

  • @jamesgravil I agree with you, totally. He has already gone down in the history books as the one who almost single handedly brought back orchestral music to film. At the time, synths were all the rage and pop/rock scores were becoming more and more popular -- not to mention cheaper. All that changed with Jaws, Star Wars, Close Encounters, etc. Don't get me wrong, there were other greats at the time such as Goldsmith, Bernstein, Morricone, etc., but none had the star power of Williams' music.

  • @jamesgravil Before he did Star Wars, he was considered as a genius.

  • @jamesgravil Why does everyone consider that line to be terrible? I just don't get why it's so bad.

  • @jamesgravil

How about when she said, "Ani, you're breaking my heart."

    lol

  • @jamesgravil I agree. him and Hans Zimmer are two of the best composers I have ever heard.

  • @jamesgravil

the star wars movies would not be the same if it wasnt for him

  • who are the 13 frikin morons who dislike this song...ahh ppl u rly dont have taste for music

  • bugüne kadar dinlediğim hiçbir müzik beni bu kadar etkilememişti

  • A very nice friend of mine who'd never seen star wars LOVED this theme - she described it as "scattering rose petals around a flowing fountain"

  • super bella e stupenda la musica

  • Comment removed

  • the song is so sad u c the tragidy in their relationship

  • I wish the last chord had been major, it felt like it was finally gonna resolve into happiness but it was a trick.

  • i know that this music is very beautiful but the picture in 1:58-3:04 doesn't seem romantic, infact it looks like the formation of a F5 Tornado!

  • Comment removed

  • The other 2 prequels I can STAND, but everything pretty much fell apart in AOTC. It's SO FAKE looking. George must have been like drunk non stop from 1999 to 2002 XD

  • @GoPatriots100 he wasnt drunk!!!!! he was high.

  • This is probably the only good part of AOTC

  • I never realized how beautiful this piece is.

  • @wachakid Yeah, I get that, but a week ago you said "yesterday was my first day in the 8th grade", but you also said that you were bullied for a year afterwards. Så how can you be bullied for one year in one week?

  • @Ekcyboo They told me that...hope it isn't a year

  • A song for the yearning of dreams never to be realized........
