One of the reasons I live out in the woods in the middle of nowhere. LOL. I spent 5 weeks in a crowded part of Southern California recently and was awoken every morning by loud noises out the window, don't know how people stand that stuff.

This makes me sound like a hermit, but I love my alone time and my peace and quiet. Fortunately, the ice cream trucks didn't find this area to be very profitable and quit trying, for now. There are other things that go on here--like the car alarm that goes off when a flea farts.

Yeah I'm the same way. Don't get me wrong I enjoy cities and big towns but I don't think I could live in one on a permanent basis, would have to live on the outskirts somewhere hehe. I've been in the Ozarks of Arkansas for the past 8 years or so. o_o

Nice! I've never been there but it's only about an hour away from where I live now. I'm in Sharp County. It's pretty boring out here if you're into the shopping or clubbing or what-have-you (because there's none of it, and not too many people) but I spend most of my time just chilling with family / reading / playing games etc. anyway so it's all good.

Texas seems nice too though. I haven't really visited but passed through the entire state (HUGE) on a train this summer.
