This brings back good memories...I can remember in 2005 or 2006 walking through the pits at Mid-Ohio and having one of the GT cars start right in front of me, scaring the living hell out of me.

Panoz and Corvette are over achievers. They could have gone over to Nascrap like all the other American car companies but they had the guts to build cars that were competitive in racing. (Nascrap is not racing since there is no meaning to it, and it wastes fossil fuels. It's not even entertaining) All the other American car companies should look up to Panoz and Corvette.

@leylandcarsloverslea um chevy is in nascar with chev engines....the corvette could not be a nascar competitor because the cars aren't built like street cars.
