The WEP key is a password for you to hook up to your secured wireless network wifi.

Go to your router default login page on your pc/mac. The user and password is admin.

From there just disable the MAC filtering and before you leave the page,save the settings.

Take a look at your WEP key number on the wireless settings page. Take down the password and try again on the ps3 or on any devices like iPhone,iPad that fails to hookup Wi-fi on the first attempt.Hope this helps.
