  • "O' the price of a soul..."

  • radiohead does not fit this movie

  • If HD is 480p than i`m a black asian ginger female :D

  • Francis bacon not Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford. Do your research, it's another blind.

  • @giraffemangaz Yep, I have also read that Sir Francis Bacon was the original writer, he was also into the occult along with John Dee. Some say this whole concept of a "New World Order" came from Bacon.

  • its a fact that Shakespeare copied from others

  • pirate bay hit it

  • I wanna watch this movie so bad!

    300mbmovies-softs.blogspot.com/2011/12/anonymous-2011-r5-avi-700mb.html

  • William Shakespeare did not exist. His plays were masterminded in 1589 by Francis Bacon, who used a Ouija board to enslave play-writing ghosts.

  • This is a great film

  • Then Ezio Auditore killed everyone.

  • @melvinlimjc nice ... u mean dezmond in todays world ..haha

  • @melvinlimjc seems legit

  • We watch soon:

-Congratulations mr. Columb, u discovered America.

    -U mean a new land?

  • damned anons :/

  • el nombre de la cancion del trailer cual es..

  • They want to misinform people that Anonymous is a film. Screw you Capitalism! Anonymous is the revolution. Anonymous is the future!

  • oh man, this looks like a snooze.

  • @sinceilostmytooth never let me hear you say that again it was so historically inaccurate and sooooooooo gooooood its a cool film the door is that way don't diss anonymous

  • it was an awesome movie great casting and plot. most epic part 1:21 haha

  • hear hear :P

  • Shakespear rocks even while being accused of fraud he still ROCKS!

  • there are actually evidence that William Shakespeare wasn't real.

  • @kimhil noooooooooooooooooooooo really??? (in case you didn't catch the sarcasm i used a lot of it)

im sorry that sounds mean but i mean come on thats what this whole movie is about it would probably be fair to assume that it's based on something so we could have deduced that on our own

  • @captainKrunch98 well im just saying that. cause some people think that this was just made up.

  • @kimhil fair enough

  • shit i thought i was about about internet hackers what a let down i hate shakespeare

  • Coming from the biggest Shakespeare freak in the world...

    This movie rocked. (:

Rhys is amazing, and the plot is thrilling and wonderful (:

  • People who think this is interesting should watch 'The New Atlantis' documentary.

  • I don't see "based on a true story" anywhere, chill out guys.

  • It was Francis Bacon, look up the Promus

  • who is the guy at 1:37?

  • I thought it was going to do with Marlowe xD This totally got me surprised, lol!

  • I loved this movie. I am going to see it again this weekend! I'm addicted!

I can't look at William Shakespeare the same way again.

  • I want to go see this movie sooooo much but I need to find time!

  • Just seen. Can only do Shakespeare good. Glad Jonson gets a word. Marlowe, again, too. Dire with inaccuracies, alas. The idea that Shakespeare isn't Shakespeare the author of plays is 19th c conjure. The weak subject, the disappearing writer, is the author of our times, our theme, and his elegist awaits. What a book and film that would be..

  • ITS THE SHITTEST FILM EVER ! IVE SEEN IT

  • The song playing in the trailer (Radiohead- Everything In It's Right Place) was used on an episode og CSI!! And I remember seeing the trailer while watching The Big Bang Theory!!! It made my night!!

  • This has been getting good reviews so far, does anybody know if the song in the trailer is by imogen heap ??

  • @shannonfisherful Radiohead.

  • Emmerich's first good film perhaps?

  • @CuriousWhale lol

  • Why do people care if it is true or not? It's just a movie. Movies are made for entertainment.

Anyways, I can't wait to see this movie.

  • @TheZombieBrigader The problem is that Roland Emmerich is actually trying to prove to people that it's true, which it is not

  • @TheZombieBrigader I really like true movies though thats entertaining.

  • @TheZombieBrigader Actually there has been controversy about who really wrote the plays. I have personally done research and am convinced Edward De Vere is the author.

  • @TheZombieBrigader

movies was first made as an instrument for war..:-/

  • Who cares. Even if shakespear didn't write these play's there still fantastic. Romeo and Juliet will still be my favorite play. nothing changes

  • I thought it was going to be a trailer on 4Chan Anon members, still looks interesting though.

  • Lord, it looks terrible. All I can say is, what a shame he managed to persuade a few decent actors to do it. The most laugh out loud part of that for anyone that knows anything about Shakespeare or his life and times is the bit where he strangles a bizarrely indignant and slim-looking Ben Jonson (well known for his sense of humour and his literally larger-than-life character, as well as for being best buddies with Will). This actually makes Shakespeare in Love look like a documentary.

  • And this is not to be forgiven, since he is German he should have known what Nietzsche once said: The person of the artist has to be forgotten, when one does behold the piece of art, as Goethe was no Faust and Homer no Achilles and Shakespeare no Hamlet; so it is utterly irrelevant for the art itself who did create it! So as a punishment he should be forced to direct at least one Shakespeare play strictly in the mater Shakespeare lets his Hamlet declare how things should be enacted.

  • Dear me! German movie directors should never go the USA! Just think of Fritz Lang: In Germany he made masterworks like Metropolis, M or the Nibelungs but then he went to the USA and his movies became cheap commercial trash; so it was with Wolfgang Petersen, who made DAS BOOT (probably the best movie about submarine warfare) and then went to the USA and made this trash Troy (anything based on the Iliad deserves the same treatment as Peter Brook gave the Indian epic Mahabharata)!

  • Honestly, I have no idea why people think this movie is going to be bad.

I'm almost 100% sure that Shakespeare is a real author of all these great poems, so this is just "What if" movie.

  • who cares if it's true, it's a story. Shakespeare's stories never happened either, but does that make them bad?

  • Ive never read a good shakespeare story yet,ill stick to Brian Lumley, shakespeare prattles on too much.

  • this looks impressive. just to clarify though you cant fuck with shakespeare

  • EPIC

  • looks good. i think i'll go see it!!!

  • I studied this theory in my literature class in the university, cant wait for this movie

  • @dodgesxt yes, Nikola Tesla invented the 'Tesla Coil' you goddamn gimpslap of a cunt stain

  • @dodgesxt Tesla Coil maybe? You fucking gimp.

  • it's a Roland Emmerich film so expect an alien invasion, the melting of the north pole, a Godzilla that dies and the world exploding. I hate that guy

  • That looks EPIC.

  • Google "Sir Francis Bacon Shakespeare." do you own research

  • this is a fantastic trailer. I mean, this probably means the film is actually a load of rubbish but it's definitely persuaded me to watch it.

  • It's not impossible. This kind of thing is going on all over the world. From Ghost writers to literary frauds feeding off smaller people's intellectual properties. Short stories butchered with subtle embellishments and engrossing exaggerations, ripped off and recycled and passed off as their own. Thats just the way of the world, and history is written by talented liars whose words require the approval of their kings. Regardless, Shakespeare's name is legend, and his words OR not, still Immortal.

  • @dodgesxt Anonymous 4: What if Newton never get hit on the head by an apple???

  • The whole authorship debate is awesome!Shakespeare's profile sucks(see my video-was Shakespeare a fraud-you decide).De Vere? His background fits but plays came out AFTER his death. Were there multiple writers?Possibly. The Establishment thrives on Shakespeare being who he is.In my novel,The Pelican Code, proof is found in Italy. If decoded & released, it would prove them all wrong. The battle is between the passion to prove & the need/(greed)to protect.Go see Anonymous-it will add heaps to this debate

  • @PelicanCode You don't wear a hat made out of tin foil, right?

  • Fuck shakespear go radiohead

  • I can understand not knowing much about the ancient Greek greats; but to have nothing in the Elizabethan Age where more is available about Marlowe and Jonson than about the supreme poet of the age, or any other? Please, Stratfordians, you have only Time on your side....!

  • love the song Radiohead - Everything in its right place

  • don't even care if shakespeare wrote the plays or not, it's not like it would change the meaning of the words, the movie just looks awesome.

  • @a2r1v1i2s An excellent point.

  • The next title gona be, Anonymous 2: What if Homer didn't write Odyssey!!! xD

  • It seems ridiculous, but it looks good to me. I'm gonna have to watch it just to see how they do it.

  • i just saw gindlewald aka king arthur the one that is engaged to bonnie wright jamie kenndey i think at 1:33 ish. anyways i love period pieces and this looks good.

  • I think I'll legally change my name to 'Anonymous'.

Can you imagine the implications ♦ ◆ ♦

  • I'm getting the picture. All the morons who hated not actually reading Shakespeare but having to hear his name in high school get what seems to them to be revenge, and then they can go back to watching "Ow, My Balls!" on the 3-D flatscreen.

  • @princeminski47 ha! you just described me to a tee! Cheers!

  • I'm related to the Earl's of Oxfords

  • I heard Brian Blessed wrote Hamlet.

  • This film is all wrong - William Shakespeare was not a fraud !

  • "what if i told you shakespear never wrote a single word..."

i still wouldnt give a fuck about shakespear lol

  • RADIOHEAD FTW

  • @skippednote I thought that was sigor ros playing... I could be wrong though...

  • this movie reminds me of v for vendetta. I MUST WATCH

  • Nobody's saying its true...this movie just explores the WHAT IF factor :) so chill out

  • @naijafefe Actually, Sony Pictures is distributing "educational" materials promoting this crap. So please, don't chill out.

  • @naijafefe THANK YOU!!! I've been so sick of everybody freaking out about this!

  • Anonymous it the number 1 hacker.....awesome!

  • francis bacon wrote it all.

  • This is gonna piss off a lot of "red coats".

  • When I saw this video on my feed, I thought the movie refered to the hack-tivists that hacked Sony and threat to destroy Facebook.

  • Comment removed

  • Lol reminds me of the Da Vinci Code ;p Nice movie btw

  • I like the other trailer better: it didn't tell us the whole fvcking story.

Thanks for ruining it for us!

  • @heffeque Oh shut the fuck up, thats said on every trailer. If you dont want to know what happens then dont watch the trailer.

  • @3GBlog The other trailer says just a little bit. The international tells the whole story! Go stick a finger up yours ;-)

  • Ok before anyone takes this seriously, may I remind you that this is the work of the same "genius" behind the movie 2012?

  • is this for real?? was Shakespeare actually a fraud?

  • @AzzzHole94 there is a myth saying he was a fraud ... it is also said that Shakespeare couldn't even spell his own name, though I don't know If it is the truth...^_^

  • A more egregious libel than AMADEUS, if only because the man so libeled is the greatest creative artist of all time. The "Shakespeare didn't write his plays" myth is the product of 19th century class snobbery and nothing more. I love Derek Jacobi, Rhys Ifans and the rest, but they are wallowing in the mud with this one.

  • @princeminski47 no, the biggest libel of all time is Shakespeares Richard III

  • @princeminski47 ITS A FIRKIN MOVIE FOR GOD FUCKIN SAKES ITS EXPLORING THE X FACTORS AND "WHAT FUCKIN IF'S" JESUS FUCKIN CHRIST ITS REALLY ANNOYING WHEN TURDS HAVE TO TELL FUCKIN FACTS ON SOMETHING MADE FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY HOLY SHIT UNLESS YOU WANT ANOTHER GENERIC FUCKIN BORING ASS FUCKING MOVIE THEN FINE BUT IM WATCHING THIS SINCE THIS SEEMS FUCKIN INTERESTING......RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!!!!!! unless thats not what you mean

  • @princeminski47 ITS A FIRKIN MOVIE FOR GOD FUCKIN SAKES ITS EXPLORING THE X FACTORS AND "WHAT FUCKIN IF'S" JESUS FUCKIN CHRIST ITS REALLY ANNOYING WHEN TURDS HAVE TO TELL FUCKIN FACTS ON SOMETHING MADE FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY HOLY SHIT UNLESS YOU WANT ANOTHER GENERIC FUCKIN BORING ASS FUCKING MOVIE THEN FINE BUT IM WATCHING THIS SINCE THIS SEEMS FUCKIN INTERESTING......RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!! unless thats not what you mean

  • @princeminski47 I do apologize, but they don’t label the film “documentary”. The important thing is to have a good script and characters, absorbing story and exciting acting. Who cares if it was true or not if it is a good piece of art. Oh, and let me remind you: Shakespeare had the tendency to alter historical facts too…

  • Comment removed

  • @princeminski47 It's supposed to be fiction. You're completely missing the point of the film.

  • We've been waiting for 90 years to see this revealed to the public at large. Go to facebook/TrueShakespeare to see what the experts are saying...

  • For those of you getting on Hollywood and Emmerich, saying that they're trashing Britain's institutions and making a joke out of the poetry, do your research. All this is based on historical fact. The Essex rebellion was closely linked to the works of Shakespeare (Richard II) and Edward De Vere is now supposed by many to be the true author of the works. I'm glad that someone finally had the guts to stand up for the Earl of Oxford. It's about time his name is known.

  • @masterluvmargarita You mean historical bullshit. Over 70 different, 'real', authors have been suggested. Sure they have a lot of plausible evidence. By plausible evidence I mean it makes sense how it is but they use that piece of 'evidence' for they're own ends. A lot of this 'evidence' is found found by those who don't believe he's the author. Its bullshit they've got no real evidence nothing written down they. A good point is all that holds up the tower of shit that is this theory.

  • this is so stupid. And poetry is interesting hexapod

  • @me0on0tube "Everything in its right place" by Radiohead

  • Makes poetry look much more interesting than it actually is.

  • @hexapod2000 can´t believe someone can actually say such s***!

  • @hexapod2000 Farts are Jazz to Arseholes

  • what is the song in trailer @0:59?

  • This is the first time I am seeing this trailer. But I saw a poster in the cinema and I saw "Shakespeare" and "fraud" I was like "I. Am. IN!" Now I saw Jamie Campbell-Bowe..."IIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!"

  • Looks really interesting...I think I'll watch it.

Jamie Campbell Bower--I recognise him from Twilight...and Harry Potter.

  • @RandomPerson1922 Don't forget he was in Sweeny Todd with Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham Carter and....dude who plays Wormtail. He was rubbing elbows with Hollywood A-Listers long before he was in both franchises.

  • looks intriguing. interesting...

  • Another British institution trashed by Hollywood, this time by a fucking German! Oh, the hurt.

  • @ludocrat Like the British need anybody's help trashing their institutions. They are destroying their own country.

  • @DrRockso99

    lol. Point.

  • Interesting.

  • Sept 20th 2011

  • I see alot of farmillar faces from Camelot.

  • Sigh Roland Emmerich.....

  • It may be wise to temper your expectations when a project is under Roland Emmerich's direction.

  • Does this mean Anonymous will start wearing William Shakespeare masks instead of Guy Fawkes masks?

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • I feel like the name of this movie is going to lead to some Internet rumble. We'll see what happens.

  • OMG

  • Looooooks AMAZING! This will be the new kings speech

  • Looks fuckin AWESOME
