I have seen the full version of this movie and a considerable amount of it is based off of Hitler's own autobiography, which is filled to the brim with lies to make himself look better. His father rarely hit him, and he was certainly no "visionary." By the time he joined the Nazi party, it already had hundreds if followers. The movie is entertaining and it does show adequately how the German people became so attracted to Hitler, but if you truly most know the full story, I recommend a bio.

I have seen the full version of this movie and a considerable amount of it is based off of Hitler's own autobiography, which is filled to the brim with lies to make himself look better. His father rarely hit him, and he was certainly no "visionary." By the time he joined the Nazi party, it already had hundreds if followers. The movie is entertaining and it does show adequately how the German people became so attracted to Hitler, but if you truly most know the full story, I recommend a bio.

@belmarfilms Hitler never beat his dog, he loved animals. The first laws he passed as Chancellor were animal rights laws. Whenever you see things such as that know that it is propaganda.

@belmarfilms He never did that are there is a whole lot of other stuff he never did but still shown in the movie (Like the implications of incest with his niece). I am not defending what Hitler stood for or what he did, but historical objectiveness is something i value greatly. While i do agree that this movie does a great job in representing Hitler, there are some parts which are outright propaganda against him and show him as an inherently evil born child which is simply not true.

SHitler was a demented madman who caused the death of so many people. He even caused the death of so many of his own people. He died quivering with fear of capture in a Bunker. While ordering children to fight to him. Anyone who looks up to him is deamed a nazitard.

@drewboy108 No he didn't. He did everything legally but at the same time munipulated the system and constitution. He didn't end unemployment, he took it back to normal, before the great depression, which was bound to happen anyway, Stresemann did it with hyperinflation 7 years before the depression. The SS intimidated people by standing outside polling boots. He banned EVERY other political party from Germany, other than his own. Surely thats not great?!

tbh i think hitler was great not for the halocaust and no matter how many great things he did tht is just the turning point and may add the only bad thing he did every thing else was for germany and when he took back places like the rhine land it was perfectly legal he also stoped unemplyement in germany he did alot of fantastic things

My opinion about Hitler is different.
Not only did Hitler enslave and murder non-Aryans -- he didn't do so great by the so-called *Aryans* either! He was one of the worst things ever to happen to the German People. This is why there were assassination plots, against Hitler, involving many high-ranking German military officers.
Hitler was for Hitler. He wasn't *for* anyone else!
(BTW I've got a mainly Prussian background.)

Oh dear. Shocking that there are still idiots and fools like you that seem to think Hitler was a good person. His determination and the power he invoked in his speeches was admirable, yes. But he was one of the most evil people ever to live, responsible for the largest genocide the world has ever seen and the start of World War 2. As for the no evidence of gassing at Auschwitz, maybe you should read the commandants memoirs: Rudolph Hoss "Death Dealer". Pretty good witness, since he ran the place.
