I work in a hotel that host MMA fights occasionally. Let me tell you, there are more fights in the audience and throughout the hotel than any other nights of the entire year combined. I think alot of guys in MMA are a bunch of hot headed tough guys who have a chip on their shoulder. Well thats the impression I get. But it does look like he's doing a good thing for these kids.

It's very true at times, I train in MMA and Ninjutsu, and it's out of that training and inner security that I feel no need to bully people around or prove i'm some kind of tough guy meathead that'll fight anyone or anything for no reason. knowledge like that gives you humbility. though if ever i got approached or egged into a fight i would to all i can not to fight the guy, if it comes down to it though i'll use my skills to it's fullest.

A video game can be spiritual, depending on the user and their usage of the material. Confidence and "spirit" go hand-in-hand, and one definitely supplements the other - personal example.

I have to disagree with you on this comment. Anything, ANYTHING can be spiritual depending on the user and how he/she interprets its function to themselves, to society and to the rest of the world. A video game can be spiritual, depending on the user and their usage of the material. Confidence and "spirit" go hand-in-hand, and one definitely supplements the other - personal example.

You would have to really belittle spirtuality to call MMA spirtual. Of course, it can teach you character, that may help spirtually in a roundabout way.
