  • ÖL temp. ?

  • Balls... how big?

  • fake and gay

  • Sounded good thats all no hate from me. It's ok those little kids don't know what a valve is.

  • How many HP does it have?

  • Got to love how it climbs onto the cam at 4000rpm.

  • Who misses the sound of an inline 6 M3? Say I !

  • so what would be the rev limit with those mods?

  • Hell yeah..rew the car tup to 8800rpm's and the oil temperature is about what? 60°C? ..lol

  • impressive work in that motor, thanks for sharing it with the world!

  • It has a great sound at full rev. Nicely built.

  • @Beemerbuyer It always sounds good. If its idling or at 8000 RPM.

  • M3 GT?? wtf is that?

anyways not too bad i guess but if ur gonna pay all the money for those parts why not turbo? i mean it seems like its exactly as fast as my E30 with my 24V swap

for those who dont know what that is its an M52B28 motor from a 328is full OBDI swap SS headers etc etc.

  • @sk8aboijosh That is because your car is lighter, it's like someone putting a v8 from the m5 into our car's. It's going make it faster isn't it?.....YES.

  • @funkyfondant m5's nowadays have v10's.

  • @Bischlarbo69 you mean V8 twinturbo.. ;)

  • @Leonidae Ah touche, but his original comment was before we even knew about the new engines :P

  • Some people cant take it...

    Great sound Great M3. ///M POWER 4 LIFE !

  • wow

  • yes m8ty

  • Amazing sound, and really nice car. Nice job man. Question though: aren't you losing power up that high? Wouldn't it not make much sense to go past 7800-8000 or so? I'm not as familiar with the S50B30/B32, as I live in the US. Thanks.

  • @BARsrule2

With factory camshaft then max 7900, then no more power, but with 286 degrees ans upwards then you have more power higher also

  • @rafkoz Thanks!

  • @BARsrule2 This car deffintly has way more done than just cams to even go that high. THe stock lifters get stuck at like 7800. This engine must be built or a euro

  • @PLAYmorePAINTBALL - Euro M3's have solid lifters, not hydraulic ones so we can rev higher for longer compared to us s50/s52 motors :) - After market cams move the power higher up so euro motors can run hotter cams moving the power band say between 6000-8500rpm - on hydraulic lifters you have to have the cams that arn't to hot as they will move your power band to high (anything over 7200) so you wont get any benefit from them.

    :)

  • niice revs!

  • great car

  • this sound warped my face.....do it again

  • no kurwa to sie nazywa m3 :D

  • Sweet!!!!!!!!

  • nice=)

the sound is orgasm like :-D

  • impressive is the kind of Schrick camshafts is up?

  • @ rafkoz:

just face the fact that not everybody adores you and you're clips. they just don't have the guts to leave a comment. nice car btw... hope you enjoy(ed) it.

  • I have not asked anyone to adore the clips nor me. But to leave Idiot and Stupid, just becuase I have made an engine that can rev 8800, thus if you know anything about S50 engines, you will know that they love being reved.

  • this applies to m5x's too?

  • @rafkoz haha, ALLL bmw inline engines love to be rev'd. Nice car...still waiting to do a euro s52 swap in my e30

  • How much did this upgrade cost?

    Only parts.

  • Don´t watch the clip if you dont like it. And learn manners, somebody will ..... you

  • When you don't know anything about cars - shut up. This engine has been build to do this - read the info..if you can read...

  • Comment removed

  • @ alphahanDK: I didn't ask your comment so f*ck off and shut up yourself. "If you can read".... how old are you anyway?!

  • @astra760 lmfao, yeah how old are YOU anyway? what a dumbass...

  • @alphahanDK : this is not correct. The cylinder head should have been changed...you need one which can stand the thermal stresses. The serial cyl.-head ist developed for a heat flux of 7500 rpm...sry

  • Hey loisl1982. I can understand what you are saying, but I don't think he is driving the car at 8800rpms all of the time :-)

My M3 had this "conversion" done 3 years ago and is still running perfectly

  • @astra760 lol, make a jap engine do a 8000+ rev and it wil shoot to the moon, japs are just toys.

  • that sound is just absolutely orgasmic... this video=instant pants tent

  • This has GOT to be the highest revving inline-six engine I have ever seen in my life... its nearly 9000rpm, now you're entering Ferrari V8 rev territory ;)

  • id say hes a nutcase revving it that high, but the engine sounds perfectly happy with it...

  • jesus christ it touched the bottom omg

    thats a beast

  • crazy engine man wow

  • Absolutely incredible

  • you guys are idiots. in the descriptions he says he has valve springs, retainers cams, bla bla. just cuz the tach says its red means nothing since he replaced all the parts that would normally be put under too much load. im sure the amount of money thats gone into this engine makes it run like this perfectly fine.

  • @TurboGLI2004 agreed

  • Sounds incredible... well done!

    Power figures?

  • Driving it like he stole it numb nuts!

  • Shut up dude - it's his car, let him do what he wants... I reckon he's spent a good deal of money on the work to get the motor to where it is - and judging by the mods, it's reasonably safe revving it that high.. so crawl back into your hole.

  • Nice ...

  • My S50B30 revs to 7800 with my chip, standard cams though, that sounds good, but this is just insane!!!

  • you kill the motor, kiddie

  • Rev limiter there for a reason, sounds nice tho.

  • It's been heavily uprated though, he'd of deffinatly put a piston through the head had that of been stock at those kind of speeds.

    But i agree, sounds menacing.

  • Wooaahh! Now that is excellent!

How did you get an S50 engine to rev that high?!

  • yeah yeah, that ship tuning ;)

  • Sounds pretty much like the E46 M3 CSL, but revs higher, which means that I like it :D

  • omg... sounds almost like the new e92 M3 with the V8 that can rev at ~8000RPM... its so sick. BMW's I6/V8 & Ferrari's V8/V12 high-revs are unmatchable, seriously.

  • Comment removed

  • @inurkiewicz it doesn't sound EXACTLY like the 4.0L V8, but its pretty close... you can still tell it sounds like the classic BMW I6 M-tuned though, I will never forget a sound... because I was disappointed when they chose for a V8 to be put into the e92 M3... its non-tradition for BMW to have done that in an M3...

  • @twiceasfastasyourass But then again so was putting an I6 in the E36 M3 over the 4-cylinder S14 in the E30 M3. There comes a time for the ///M to evolve, in my opinion.

  • @Famoustlb perhaps, but when i think of I4 i think of import tuners w/ fart cans & intakes saying they just gained an extra 93838 hp from the upgrades... LOL. Really, to me BMW has lost its touch; E36 into E46 was the last of the true BMW image.. these days show brand distortion; models now start to look like hybrids of a Lexus & Toyota, way too many curves... perhaps its inevitable with time, but i will always remember BMW in its pinnacle stages in E36 & E46 generations... regardless, //M FTW

  • Jesus....

  • they can rev to 10.000 if built correctly...sounds wicked

  • ive seen alot of BMW M3's but none can rev that high.....nice car.....nice sound.

  • no mods to the engine just ship tuning and taking off the rev limiter???

that dangerous for the engine no?? i guess it can stand 8300rpm but not 8800?

  • It says it has camwork

  • I had the same thing on mine, it works...its funny to see the look on the Hondas boys when they find out I can rev more than they can

  • Ah oki :)

  • So ... no valve springs or retainers ? that's just crazy :(

  • huh?

no he is just using a 2 springs per valve, titanium valves, and also titanium retainers, with solid lightweight lifters.

  • You have to change the CHIP for this

  • damm how is this possible whit my m3 e36 evo i can't do that ore else she is hanning in the rev limeter

  • i dont believe it!

  • gross vents

  • Sounds almost like a honda CBX!

    Very revvy indeed!

  • wow thats crazy, <3 BMW

  • savage car

  • For 17 secs of video content, I was impressed. Thanks for not wasting my time (no sarcasm).

  • wow!

    +++ BMW ///M POWER!!! +++

  • damn!

  • m3 3.0 can do this all day , trust me i know, they are made to race at these levels, when it is standard their is still plenty room for tuning.

  • What the hell do you people even know about the S50 engines.. they can go up to that safely all day.

  • sick! sounds great!

  • is it healthy to rev past redline?:P beautiful and rare GT, 5/5!
