This scene along with the one at the end of Walkabout were the two scenes that made me LOVE lost. 2 of the best scenes I have ever seen in my life. Tremendous acting by Terry o Quinn. Fully desereved Emmy. Theres never gonna be a TV show like this for a long long time.
probably the most epic scene in lost history. there have been plenty of epic scenes throughout tv, but for lost, this is one of those scenes you can never forget. this is where it all changes and all hell breaks lose.
One of the best scenes of the series. The music, the reference with the flashback. And finally when he's at the hedge in despair, the light appears, which give him hope again.
dead but important es eveer !!!! not being dead menas is not longer relevant you know in fact is the mostm important enigmatic and best character of the entire serie
JOHN LOCKE LIVES. I don't know, but I'm sure they won't let such a character die definitely without having a retribution. We're talking about the most loved character on the show, don't forget. 3 more months....
Or has he died??? He was brought back to life before. And Walt said he had visions of Locke being in a suit, surrounded by people that wanted to hurt him... that could be episode 1 of next season.
No, the hatch' dwellers "him" myth is just someone that would take their place in the hatch, like the documentary says that they'd live in their for about a year till their replacements come.
Locke is pretty much the only reason I stuck with Lost to the end. This show would be rubbish if they ever properly killed him off and he kept the crappy filler episodes of the third season from being completely terrible.
This IS the best scene in so far the whole show. The music is great and it shows how sad Lockes life was. That is why he is my favorite person in the show.
I think this is one of the most, if not the most, emotional scene for me in the first season, at least. the music goes so so so well with the scene and Locke's story is just so UNFAIR and sad and the acting is marvelous.
OK since you've started reading this its too late to stop. in 2001 a 15 year old girl was killed in a clearing in scotland. nobody knows who or what killed her but there is scratch marks all over her body and she looks horrific. she is said to roam around the world and can go 2 places at once. if you dont post this comment on 5 other videos or websites in ten minutes she will suddenly attack you and kill you in some gruesome way. this is scary coz it happened to my friend. please.

definitely one of the most powerful scenes I've seen, and the music suits it. And that security guard looked sorry for John like he knew what was going on and felt bad. I would have let John in like "f**k it, this guy deserves whatever Locke does to him"
breaks my heart every time I see it... The music is simply heartbreaking... and the performance and piece in this episode is so overwhelming that it brings tears to my eyes every time I see it... there's just something so profound in this episode that, when the entire story leads up to this point, you can't help but, shed a tear... Terry does an amazing job in this episode...

Man, I just cannot believe he died without a little retribution. He was a good man, a good character and the reason a got hooked up on Lost.
I'd love to see the real John Locke have some payback in the last season.
