There are so many things I love about this clip. Especially the hug at the end, real tear jerky. I just loved their relationship, and it was always so nice to see a different side to Marty, when she was with Jess, to see she was a good person, who put up a wall around people, but Jessica got her to break down that wall.

Oh, don't make me cry!!! LOL I remember how close Jessica and Marty were. Marty was like a big sister to Jess during this time when Clint and Viki were going through their divorce. Ironic how the party girl was the only person who could get through to Jess. I think in a lot of ways they needed each other: Jess needed someone to understand what she was going through, and Marty needed to show that she actually had a heart and cared about people. Great writing and acting!

This is one of many reasons that the Spring Fling story was so great and was able to involve so many people--Marty was reluctant to name Kevin as one of her attackers (and he wasn't) because she didn't want to hurt Vicky and Jessica, who she had become close to and fond of.
