  • try with Desert Eagle

  • fail it went right thro

  • How about bad guy`s AK-47 round? No protection against that....

  • Well of COURSE those three rounds wouldn't penetrate.

  • They should also try AKM on it.

  • waar is die .50 :DDD

  • who would bring a .22 to a gun fight? i'd like to see the vest stock a .30

  • This bullet proof vest NOT Body armor

  • Its not a test unless you wear the vest.

  • dats awsome

  • Why do they always use old guns for tests?

  • Excellent choice of music! Tito y Tarantula!

  • Excellent choice of music! Tito y Tarantula!

  • piss off people, it's Dutch, not German -_- get used to hearing other languages fags.

  • Use some real rounds like a .41, .44, or FN five-seven

  • lol lol lol germanlol lol lol lol hehe schnitzel lol lol lol hehehehe

  • its not german... its some gay language ^^

  • @youre0mother its fucking dutch

  • @youre0mother fuck your mother ase hole

nerderlands is geen gay taal lul

  • @cladimere you fucking dumbass, read the description, it's dutch

pull out the 5.7 and let's see what this vest can really do

  • its not german

  • hiba uba lupa numa.lol

  • LMFAO at 2:07 IT SOUNDS LIKE HE SAYS HIT IN THE BUTHOLE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @blusoldier1234 he says "3 verschillende patronen" which means "3 different rounds" :P

you know, it's funny how it's really hard to hear "hit in the butthole" when you can actually understand what he says XD

  • @blusoldier1234 lmao!!!!

  • Their language sounds like hacking up flem.

  • why do they talk rapala ribirish

  • lugerrrrrrrr

  • lol AT 2:07 IT SOUNDS LIKE HE SAYZ HIT IN THE BUTHOLE HAHAH

  • haha

  • LMFAO thats soo funny

  • so .,45 is armour peircin? NICE!!!

  • i really want to get one.

  • @roygbiv330

ok then i get 9mm ap bullets

they pass trought 4mm titanium and 22 folds kevlar

the nato use only 1.4 mm titanium

  • they can be defeated by level 3 composite plate.

  • dats gay! dey put it on a soft material its like a pillow,, they should try putting it on a human like material or a dummy,, i think it will penetrate.

  • Lol, at 1:42, they put the microphone up to the 9mm bullet to see what it has to say.

    :-D

  • LOL

  • and what happens when u shot them in the head.. its all about shot placement.

  • what happens if you hold a gun sideways and cant seem to hit anything?

  • @rsoto33, yeah but not everyone has aimbot. given the distances and great many circumstances - the head being a smaller target, if given a standoff and you take aim at someones head theres very little chance that you'll hit compared to and opponent shooting for your chest/abdomen.

what if a shot goes astray and hits you in the stomach?

what im saying is shot placement doesnt always come out with better results.

  • cool video

  • let's see this again with something as firm as a human body behind it. and with that, how far the bullet push the kevelar into the wearer!

  • The Dutch!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • Interesting video. Todays bulletproof vests are awesome.

The dutch language is cool. It's between german and scandinavian. When he talks about the 9mm Parabellum, it would be translated like this in swedish: "Den mest brukade militära kalibern över hela världen". A dutchman would understand it. :-)

  • the 5.7x28mm might do the job

  • did they died?

  • I would like to see what happens when it gets shot with a 7.62x25mm Tokarev pistol round

  • that .45 would fuck you up even with the vest! =P

  • lol at those toy guns.

  • never try this at home he's setting you up for failure...5.56mm will whiz right through that not to mention 7.62mm

  • bad function7, in Mexico the mafia to use ak 47, machingun or bigger weapons; not toys like that.

  • test with artic warface magnum plz!!!!

  • he makes strange sound 0:16 O_o

  • yah! he's like a horse, lol!

  • Now i now what i wanna get in christmas... =D

  • try taking a few more shots with the 45 like you did the nine and 22...How does the 9 penetrate and the 45 bounce off...i say a few more shots with the 45 woulda done it

  • .45 is a heavier and slower round. Not to mention more of a surface area to expand and slow down.

The slimmer faster rounds will penetrate more often. Like .223 etc...

  • what a bad stance... two hands please ESPECIALY because there are many people around him

  • nederlands wtf they talk like... i don´t know but not very good

  • unfortunately people aren't made of pillows. the trauma would be bad from the latter two

  • What about a buckshot?

  • Such a beautiful and elegant language

  • da language that is perfect for fighting

  • even if the .45 didn't penetrate I bet it woulda hurt like HELL. I'm willing to put money on broken ribs.

  • for sure...if not broken ribs some nasty bruising!

  • lulz a 22 cal wow .. test it on ak-47s

  • of course it wouldnt stop a 7.62...it wouldnt stop a .223, its not what their made for

  • It won't stop a .357 either. Or a .44, or really anything with a significant powder load. A .454 will blow a hole through it and come out the other side. It won't even stop a 9mm if it hits the right place.

It more makes you feel safe then really protect you.

  • the vest is a level II a level III-A handle's high pistol cailber like the 44.mag and this armour wasn't mean't too take on a 50.cal because it ain't a rifle plate.

  • What about trying a .357 Magnum or a .38 Super?

  • translate please

  • id love to see that vest take on a 50. cal

  • the only bullet dat can pierce dat is a sniper bullet and a desert eagle cos the bigger the hammer in the gun more dammage it does der u go

  • what does the hammer got to do with it? some guns dont even have a hammer.

  • That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

  • yah actually im sure all rifle ammo can pierce it, but only high velocity pistol rounds can

  • If not with a steel core the vest can handle the Tokarev's FMJ 7.62x25.

  • I'd like to see how it handles Tokarev's FMJ 7.62x25 round :-)

  • I'm not sure if the particular vest can stop a 7.62x25 but there are defenetly ones that can.

  • That chest deflection looked deadly

  • i have a question...sum guy i knoe is trying to sell me a bullet proof vest for $200 and its a level 3...is ot a gud deal...?

and wat types of bullets wouldnt penetrate it..?

  • i got a question...sum guy i knoe is trying to sell me a bullet proof vest for $200 and its a level 3....is it a gud deal..? nd wat types of bullets wouldnt penetrate it..?

  • not bad average price

  • the lvl.IV-A is a anti armor percing round system. it has inches of ceramic and trama plate and hardcoresteel (import) the type of steel that armor percing rounds are made out of. =] (but now i like the bulk when i wear my armor and it is more just too show that you are somewhat 98%coverd if you are in the normal streets of the US. with level.IV-A armor plates. + full gear armor head too toe. [it gives you a powerful filling just look at what happen in 1997 northhollywood shootout RIP-larryphil

  • well no duh a 22 wont peirce it

  • @Algastar :

You idiot, a barrett m107 is an Anti-Tank weapon, it's made to pierce through tank armor wich are iron plates of about 2 inches thick, if they shot someone with that weapon the person who got shot would be splattered all over the place if he was wearing a bulletproof vest or not. You would have to wear about 5 iron plates of about 2 inches thick to survive a shot from that.

  • can a barret sniper penetrate a vest

  • Headshot

  • yes but not many ppl wander round with rifles they use pistols.......id rather have this than no body amrour at all cos ur not in a warzone so u dont need millitary grade armour this will do

  • idiot. you obviously know absolutely nothing about firearms.

  • Even "military" ammo would have it's energy distributed by the vest.True, a rifle bullet would have better penetration, & would most likely penetrate the vest, especially at such a close distance, but keep in mind, many CQB encounters by the military, SWAT, & police are given opposition armed with small arms that use handgun ammo, whether it be a handgun or a smaller carbine or SMG.But to give greater protection from rifle rounds the use of ceramic plates over vitals & common hit points are used.

  • I was thinking about buying a bulletproof vest off of ebay. Does anybody know if those are reliable????

  • this is not military vest noob thats police vest for small cal. weapons

  • yo dude!!!...that vest is not on the solid thing...bullet penetrate but it bounce back in the vest...try put it on dummy or something...damm hell..it can be penetrated...there is no such thing bullet proof in this world man....

  • i agree, but try searching for dragon skin armor it stops any bullet..

  • yo dude!!!...u put that vest not on the solid thing...thats why bullet can't penetrate...it bounce back...try put that vest on solid thing like dummy or something...damm hell...it can be penetrated...there is no such thing bullet proof in this world...

  • use a rocket lucnher

  • Most body armor can stop pistol bullets so it's not really that impressive. Rifle bullets are the real test.

  • bullett proof vests should be tested with powerful rifle ammo ( from 7,62x39 to .50 bmg ), not with pistol rounds shot with grandpa's luger

  • i am dutch en ik ben trot op mezelf

in english i am proud to myself to know much

    about guns

  • the slower the bullet the better the chance it will penetrate

  • you know body armors not made to stop more then pistol rounds any who so live with it

  • wat will win shot gun or gatling gun

  • its called hollow tips buddy

  • dude you don't even know what they are saying

  • Really?

    What about the .357 Magnum?

  • what do you mean military ammo ... your not been very specific ... and just so yeah know the m16 and other such weapons use a 5.56 nato round Which is still smaller then the 9mm fmj and the .45 THEY USED IN THE VIDEO

  • The .22 is a long-rifle round

  • could some people wear 2 bullet proof vests?

  • no, bulletproof vests use plates which are placed underneath the vest. It would be hard to move around and it would be extremely uncomfortable.

  • but it's possible.....

  • this is clearly an experiment for a new kind of lighter weight vest made of polycarbonate like in plexiglass rather than ceramic plates, looks like its pretty thin so wearing two wont be TOO bad...

  • u can still get hit in the head tho XD they should make a helmet with same material

  • They do make helmets with the same material. If you had the helmet on and if the bullet doesn't penetrate and kill you then most likely the Blunt trauma would.

  • actually yes you can, only soft body armor, as he said, no, hard steel plated body armor, very impractical, but soft yes, but this will not increase the bellet resistance of it very much, slightly yes, but it wont double.

  • In Florida in 1997,a drug dealer shot a cop with a 12ga. slug. The cop was wearing a bullitt proof vest, although the slug did not penetrate the vest, the muzzle energy of the slug killed the cop.

  • I had a feeling that armor would stop the slug but not distribute the energy enough to prevent massive internal damage to that person. I got to get me some 3" magnum slugs.

  • brutal

  • and it would be the same with this fabric...WERE DRAGON SKIN!!

  • first they used either small caliber bullets or bullets that are flat. i would like to see a test with a 22-250, 25-06, and a 700 nitro express. second...i would have shot them in the head instead of the chest.

  • im curious to see what would happen if it was shot with a barrett m107(.50cal sniperrifle). that would be interesting

  • The .50 BMG round is an anti tank round. It was designed to penetrate a tank and then bounce around inside to kill he occupants. No vest will stop it.

  • got something against them?

  • i would like to have seen a .44 mag test.

  • even if the vest stopped the 44 mag. the impact would break some ribs bc of how powerful it is believe me i know i have one.

  • True, but I would much rather have broken ribs than be dead. :-)

  • with that vest, a .44 mag to the chest from close range might compress the rib cage enough to be lethal... Ive taken four .380ACP's to the chest through a level 4 and it felt like an airsoft bb through cardboard, without the trauma plates though, it was like a hammer and knocked the wind out of me.

  • ribs are so overrated any way.

  • i loled too hard

  • Depends, Even without penetration, A bullet impact from a large caliber weapon can be lethal. If it hits you in the chest it can give concussion damage or stop your heart.

  • thats why they have trauma plates around the chest area. but you are right just because the bullet does not pennitrate the vest did you all see how it caved in that can kill you, breal ribs, and cause severe muscle damage and brusing......

  • if a police officer was wearing this vest and was hit by a madman's hammer, would it hurt?

  • Got 39 layers of Dyneema in there with special stitching to reduce blunt trauma

  • if this vest included a pocket for a 7 X 10 in trauma plate it would be the best concealable vest out there.

  • yeah well it was a pretty small gun you should have used a .38 =]

  • they must use s&w 500 hehe

shoot throught the front gos through person gos through the back hita wall

  • 22 is a small gun.

    doesn't do that much damage.

really gotta hit them in the right spot.

and no, hydrostatic overpressure doesnt do that.

  • nederland

  • the shock alone will fuck you up

  • .22 WHAT IF THEY HAVE A SHOTGUN

  • kool

  • he sounds german

  • no he doesn't. He's dutch, dutch is similar to german but it's not german...

  • ive had a blank .22 cal bullet blow up in my hands, not a pretty sight.

  • Try using armor piercing 7.62x39 rounds from an ak47 thattll put a hole through both sides.

  • oh yeah, shure it stops the bullets themselves but the force is still behind them

  • you would still have some trauma. Maybe internal bleeding from the .45

  • True because there are no trama plates behind the kevlar (or whatever they're using). It would be something like getting hit with a baseball bat. I've seen tests like this done before, but they used clay as opposed to a pillow behind the vest to see the blunt trama. Any body armor worth anything can stop practically any handgun round (with the exception of the new 5.7 rounds, that were built to defeat some types of body armor).

  • yes stunt suits on the inside of kevlar woudl make someone unstoppbale lol

  • It's likely the original European spec 9mm which is quite a bit more powerful than the underloaded commercial American 9mm, and also slightly more powerful than the .45 ACP

  • yeah but your spec 9mm is defeated by most bodt armors.

ive seen the .45 acp fire from an 1911A1 defeat standard police body armor at 50 meters

  • ?? I've never seen or heard about a standard .45ACP round that would defeat certain body armour that a standard 9mm wouldn't defeat. Was the .45 a +P or something?

  • actually inside 30 meters this thing called "hydrostatic overpressure" forces all the liquids ine the area that was hit to the rear of your body.

and it crushes your organs in the process.

  • gross...
