thats a foul no doubt, but to call for a 12 match ban is laughable. Ryan shawcross kicked Aaron Ramseys Leg in half and got a 3 game ban, Martin Taylor got a 3 match ban after stamping Eduardos bone out his foot, so why the fuck would ujfalusi get a 12 match ban just because its messi? I personally think ronaldo is better because he handled the Premier league, in the epl messi would get manhandled.

@fnmkng You're actually making an argument against ineffective bans/rules, not an argument against those who believe Ujfalusi should get a long ban. We shouldn't wait until a footballer gets a broken leg in order for the punishment to be severe. The whole point of the matter is to try to prevent (dissuade) players from making these reckless challenges. Look at the player you cited, Eduardo: suffered a vicious tackle, and now doesn't look half the player he was. Essentially, a career ruined.

@MrFootballArtist1 I feel a 3 game ban is the right amount, 12 games is ridiculous. This was a reckless tackle but i honestly believe messi was to quick for him as he tried to get the ball. Its a physical game and this stuff happens, he did not want to damage his ankle, he wanted to make a point by going in hard and winning the ball fairly.

At his peak, ronaldo was a complete player (both Cristi and actual ronaldo) they were physical, quick, technically blessed, and efficient in the air. Messi is small and weak.

Scoring is not a measure for being a good player, don't forget Messi originally is a midfielder. And how come he does not produce? Haven't you watched matches of Argentina on World Cup? He did a lot, even in a team that can't act as a whole. Try to put those so called *stars* to teams like that and see what happens. Then you'll know who the real star is.
